You can use the patch to upgrade any version beginning with 0.5.12a1 to version 0.5.13r2 , just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).
To use the patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.

Hey yall, I am terrible at the computer files part of this. I have currently the 12r2 version and I am trying to update it to the 13r2 version. All I have done so far is download the hi-re 13r2 patch file and I put that directly into the folder called "game" The one in the overall folder for the game itself. I then launched the game and it still says it's the previous version on the bottom left corner of the home menu. Any help will be super wonderful. Thank you for your time.
