You can use the patch to upgrade any version beginning with 0.5.11a1 to version 0.5.12a2 , just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).
To use the patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.
Due to a lot, and I mean a whole lot of issues with environments and props for this update, we've only barely got the story events ready for Alpha 1.
Alpha 2 will come Tue/Wed with a new sex scene for Lyriel, additional scene for Rae (hopefully) and (again, hopefully) a remaster of Shower Story scene with new animations etc.
Even then, there are more than 300 new renders in this one, and four events moving Rae's story along.
Show Off - after she gets her new dress she wants to show it off to your housemates. Look for her and three other girls in the living room in the morning. Just go there and the event will happen.
Dinner Date - she'll invite you. She won't budge, let her treat you.
Thoughts - a few days after the dinner date she'll want to talk to you.
Morning Tea - trust route, will be available after Thoughts. Offer the morning walk, you can pay this time.
Lyriel's Depths - side sex scene. Ask for a kitchen BJ, if it's been done at least once, there will be some new options. But be careful.
