Canon wise Jasper and Lili hold allot of secrets with each other and it can get daunting and even stressful. When I create an AU in which she is with Leon there are no secrets not at first and once things get revealed it easier for them to work together. As the story progresses trust will be tested and I just love stories that focuses on forgiving one another instead of cardboard cutout personalities. I want to know a character is grounded and I hope you all do to haha.
In canon Leon is as honest as he is in the AU and that is one of the reason why he can't stand Jasper because he knows his dishonesty. Not to say Jasper dishonesty is without a reason, Jasper isn't being dishonest to intentionally hurt Lili but he does fear if the truth is ever revealed she would never want to wake up or forgive him. haha
