He is a horrible listener and he realizes that once things begin to go sour. Lili wants to trust Jasper but as they begin to get closer to her core memories she see a side of him he refuses to acknowledge. Jasper has fear he has regret and guilt yet he never expresses why he has these feelings.
Jasper selfishness hurts Lili terribly, Jasper wants to help her but all he does is hurt her. he hurts her horribly unintentionally. when will he realize that his words matter, his actions matter....Jasper will soon discover that he might be doing more harm than good.
