A vlog about nothing in particular

This is just a walk and talk video, discussing some hiking plans for 2024 and showing off the little mountain holler I walk through. Featuring a foot statue and a suspicious figure walking down the road. It is literally NOT important but sometimes you just gotta make something so uh here it is I guess.

So many people talk about hiking the AT but I'd bet that at most 1% of people that start it finish it. My sister and brother in law have a house in extreme western NC. Their house is on a short gravel road on a little ridge overlooking a small river. Very nice place, but there is zero mobile signal there. Across the river is a much taller area, I wonder if a signal is available there. But I don't know if anyone even lives on that side of the river or how to get to that side other than swimming across. Luckily they DO have internet service(not fibre, it's either cable or DSL), so they use wi-fi to make calls from their phones.
