(Late) Happy New Year~
Added 2026-01-04 15:06:53 +0000 UTCSo I'm the kind of person who gets distracted really easily (like forgetting to make the new years post on new years...) - few games have attracted my attention for more than a few days, and the same goes with making stuff of my own. I have technically written some stuff before NekoNTR, but those were just (bad) overly-ambitious stories (non-nsfw!) that never got past a handful of chapters - but a year later... NekoNTR is at over 100,000 words, with hundreds and hundreds of CGs...
But I often feel bad about not being able to churn out huge updates on a consistent basis - especially with so many supporting me - but as a passion project I never really like forcing myself to work on it... like I thought I'd be able to spend December making some sort of huge update, but instead I blobbed around and decompressed and played games I'd forgot about and binged shows and spent time with friends >x< I really do respect developers who can just... work on stuff every day, consistently, for the rest of their lives - but for me I really need inspiration and bursts of motivation so that I'm always writing and creating at 100%...... which is not great when you have people waiting patiently for updates @-@;
I honestly never really thought it would get anywhere near this big of a game with so many supporters (and I'm like, wait, isn't this too many? how am I supposed to repay all these people? I don't deserve this many people @-@?!)
But anyway seeing the amount of content and how far we've come and stuff I'm like wait I did all that?! so I've attached a bunch of random pics sorted from old to new which I don't think have been shared before! As you can see, I like pixel art, and originally that was going to be the whole game - but while I still really like it and I want to find ways to use it in the game (likeee OnlyFyans subs making fan-art or something!) I'm glad I didn't go with that approach
For 0.0.13 I'm aiming to release before or on Jan 8 sooo look forward to that :3

2026-01-05 18:21:02 +0000 UTCI think it's fair to take a little break when the motivation is a bit low, after all everyone has been enjoying your amazing story a lot so we also want to read the best you can make! Maybe you could make something different instead for your supporters from time to time, maybe it could work as a break and also to flex your amazing writing creativity. I was thinking something like a small "if" NTR episode for Vanilla or maybe even other characters you like, that way you can write/gen something you enjoy while not being tied by the story constrains and we get to read these too >:3. I mean I enyojed a lot the small xmas series of Vanilla antics!

Yes, in cases like this with such a big primary focus on creativity, forcing yourself to just 'write' or 'work' will simply lead to something that in your eyes will be subpar and forced, just written 'to put something out'. Take some time off, decompress, play some games, read other stories, before you realise you'll be back to business. Loving everything so far! Take good care of yourself.
