100+ CGs, 20,000+ words in, and now finally getting to some really spicy happenings in the story.

Maybe the story spent a bit too long in the 'build-up' phase..? But I really wanted the main character to spend some time with his girlfriend, and have her gradually, but noticeably change (though I did my best to sprinkle spicy moments throughout - like the main character's recurring, and intensifying dreams!) in a semi-believable way (well, as believable as hentai games go)

Over the past month I've been quite busy with work and playing new games, but still, I've sunk quite a few hours into development. So far, I've rewritten the story from scratch once, and I can't even count how many times I've had to scrap chunks of days because I tried to do too much and went 'wow this is going to get far too complicated later on' or 'wow this sucks and makes no sense'.

I don't massively love how rigid and linear the story currently is, but every attempt at adding routes or lots of player choices has just been overwhelming and/or of poor quality. So, I think I'd rather focus on the main story first, and then later go back and start adding choices/mini-routes (bad endings).

Right now, obviously I'm primarily focused on progressing the story. But I also desperately want to add some sort of chat rewind feature to re-experience days before releasing the game. Currently, chat history is limited to 200 messages, so the only way to go back and see CGs is in the gallery or starting a new game.
