I like the format and once a month at least would be great. I personally would prefer LESS analysis, and am more interested in why each particular game caught your interest. What makes it stand out, apart from the jankiness? 100% subjective would be fine, and if that means we learn as much about your tastes as we do about the game, more the better. I like Extra Credit's "Games You Might Not Have Tried" for similar reasons. It's not about analysis, it's more about shining a light on something that wouldn't otherwise get much notice. It doesn't even have to be a GOOD game, if it tries something new and fails tragically, A for effort kind of thing. And any concern about promoting something and purchase decisions is, imo, overblown. It's not like you're shilling for these indies.

Personally, I love stuff like this. I wouldn't mind if you *did* do a little bit more thematic analysis for them, either. I know it's more work, so don't feel any pressure on it, but having an extra minute or two for each game talking about what it's trying to say, and why, would be cool. And also, small games like this, I'm always looking for more of, so getting your help sorting through the entire internet is always welcome.

And if I'm being completely honest? Other than well-known names or breakout hits that I can't help but hear about, I don't think I have that many places to look if I am interested in a small, cheap or quirky indie title. I think you're filling a very important niche here.

I love it. I really like that you focus on the positive, but you mention what might be a problem or a dealbreaker to a player - so that the viewers are reasonably well-informed if they want to buy. I think you strike the perfect balance. I hope you keep making videos like this one. I'm sure the creators of the games could use more visibility. Heck, I'll probably be buying some of your recommendations, even though I don't spend that much on games. In the first episode already, I think I have one I want to pick up.

To echo other comments here, I think this is a GREAT separate format from your long-form essays! Sometimes straight praise is needed! Ads aren't bad when it's for games that don't have marketing budgets - this is championing!

I love this format! I'm a big fan of short and/or interesting games so these recommendations are extremely exciting to me! I'd be super excited if you made more of them, maybe as a roughly monthly thing?

I love content like this, I'd love to see them as frequently as you can put them out! I think your delivery here really works and you sell the games well. Just enough info on each title to inspire checking them out without spoiling the experience of looking into them ourselves. Please keep these videos up, great work as always!

I think that format works really well as an addition to your essay stuff :). Maybe mention the stores where one can buy the respective game in addition to the OS?

I really liked it, but I also enjoy the more in-depth stuff so I don't think this format should take over. Both formats probably make sense for different kinds of games? Then again, I might not be your target audience: I essentially never play video games, but I'm interested in design, themes, and making stuff generally. I was a bit disappointed that byte driver wasn't in the video, though :-D I follow the developer on social media but haven't really seen the game apart from the trailers and what have you. So I was really curious to learn what you thought about it.

I think this is the best format yet! Only recommendations and with the initial caveat that they're a lil rough around the edges. Do this as often as possible please!
