made some more progress. Most of the major motions are in now, but lack polish. Soldier is still in a pretty rough state, but he's not going to do much anyway. Facial expressions are missing too.
Went location scouting, after which I decided to have Soldier's left arm just off to the side. Previously I wanted him to hold on to something but that proved to be too prohibitive, cause for it to work they'd have to stand in a doorway or otherwise the camera would have been too close for the side view to work.
Now I can just place the characters wherever I want. Haven't decided where yet, but I think I'll go with the attacker's first spawn point on Watchpoint Gibraltar.
