My friends, here's a brand new Hobby Zone modular workbench that kept me occupied for the entire day yesterday... and for a few hours today as well!

My old drawers (MOPPE by Ikea) were great and compact, but they weren't so good for organization. The drawers were tall and I had all kinds of stuff piled on top of each other in them. Now I have all the tools thematically organized - for example, there's a drawer with wires and wire benders, another with hobby blades, another one with sanding sticks, etc.

As a bonus, I managed to get rid of a rather large and unsightly metal drawer that was under my desk, and everything now sits nicely in this new workspace! The only thing that didn't fit in was a large roll of copper foil, but I found another place for it. And I'm still left with quite a few empty small drawers!

I remember these modular Hobby Zone workspaces from back when I was a teenager. Every time I saw someone rocking one of these I'd get jealous, telling myself that I'll have one as well when I grow up :) But then I forgot about the brand, and as modelling became my job, my attitude toward the workspace changed. It's a place where I go to work, and I only care about having a good time with the stuff I do, not necessarily with the area around me. But then again, people like to treat themselves when it comes to their hobbies, right?

I'll do a little sneak peek into the shelves in the facade video :)

Huge thanks and lots of kisses to Hobby Zone for contacting me!

I'm updating my old building area keeping the home made units and putting them into my garage but getting a new work benches the worktable I'm using is in my garden the shed is getting a bit crowded with cobwebs as the local spiders take refugee in there during the Winter when I need to spray my build I've got to get rid of them once and again but hopefully I'll be relocated by next Winter I'm going to use the hobby zone modules when I'll refit my garage

HobbyZone is one of them things that once you got them, you wonder how it could possibly work out all the time without them!

Looks great! Where and how do you use your camera? Maybe you did another video on that, but I find it so interesting you can zoom in as you do!

Hey hey, welcome to the party, uncle. ALTHOUGH, they are cool and stuff, things get mixed up in them as well, so I started to make inlays for my tools, fitting HZ-Drawers. For the RP-Toolz Punch and Die sets, I have one for all 5 sets, I’ll link you a couple of pictures here. If you are interested, I could print one for you, maybe in exchange for some autograph or „Real Earth from my garden™️“. 😊 https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dpVL9S-4yN3I18MAaoZXwNe3tuEofOB4 The cool thing is, everything sits tight in place, the trays are laying flat, storing leftover rivets etc, and All in one of the big, 2x tall drawer pieces. No long searching for the needed stamp size, it’s perfect. I would only have to mod it for your hammer, but that’s easy.

Organization is the key to happiness! And not getting two of everything because you can’t find what you thought you had already!! Looks great !!

Bob Yack

I know this stuff…. Great!!

I’ve spent a small fortune on these on my workbench.
