Some modelling with Covid…
Added 2023-12-05 23:13:16 +0000 UTCMy friends, it turned out that my man-flu was actually Covid… again, after more than a year 😪 So I spent 3 days on the couch and in bed because I wanted to get better ASAP. At least I had time to catch up on some TV shows!
Today I feel better so I did some modelling, tackling the least appealing part od the facade. And damn, what a great experience it was! Everything is painted with acrylics. The Michelin sign comes from RT Diorama set of printed signs, and the plywood is made from a sheet of styrene, very quickly textured with a metal wire brush. Once again, black ink is an incredible weathering tool!
I know the window in the reference image isn’t boarded up, but without it the black painted inside of the wall would be painfully obvious. Besides, it’s ten times more interesting this way! Of course, everything was filmed in detail 😊
