At last... finish line!

My friends, my memory is rather weak when it comes to modelling projects, but I've got a feeling that this might be the longest project so far, and it's finally done!

There are a couple of final thoughts I realized as I was finishing it. First of all, the figures. I might've accidentally learned a pretty good way to paint white cloth (winter uniforms for example!), although it wasn't my intention. The soldier on the left has his shirt painted with Light Mud from Vallejo. The highlights are created by adding a good amount of white, and the final outlining is done with pure white. Shadows, as usual, are done with Black Brown. All three figures were painted with my usual pre-shading and glazing method. I'm very disappointed with the sitting crewman from Evolution Miniatures. He's a literal giant compared to the Panzer Art figures, and the sculpting is nowhere near as nice as the previous 2 figures I painted from this brand. The paint job isn't very good either :( I tried painting each figure with a slightly different color to introduce some variety.

My second thought: massive, imposing models like this are cool because of their size. That's the main selling point. However, when it comes to creativity and artistic freedom, they're quite limiting. At least for me. For example, you could definitely create a more eye-catching vignette with a leftover tank turret from an old kit. But that's just a thought! Some models just fall into the "technical" category - where the main thing on display is their shape, size, and real-life engineering. Others lend themselves to stunning, punchy scenes with dynamic stories. And quite frankly, I'm a bigger fan of the latter, although a few years ago I'd totally put myself in the opposite camp :D

Lastly, I finished the figures late this afternoon. I'll start working on the video now, and although I'm not happy about it - it's gonna be ready during the weekend, again. Last time I promised that it won't happen and I'll make sure to make them ready on Friday evenings per the usual routine, but so far I was always a day or two late... and I feel like the circumstances in the future might lead to more situations like this. So my question is - is that okay with you? If a video won't be ready exactly 7 days in advance of the official release?
