Added 2022-05-26 20:00:42 +0000 UTCMy friends, here's some small progress on the new project - the JS-2 I mentioned a while ago! This tank is going to be all about MAD textures. I'll try to follow reference images as closely as possible because every component on these tanks had its own, unique, gnarly texture.
The ingredients for this model are:
Tamiya JS-2 Mod. 1944
Friulmodel tracks salvaged from an old JS-3 model (RIP)
Aber gun barrel
Eureka XXL tow cables
Eduard PE fenders and details
Panzer Art and Alpine figures
More texturing madness tomorrow!

The way you add the texture to the (casted) parts is amazing! Very cool. I haven't tried it yet but I will soon along with my first try at welds. Cheers!
