I only added the metal "pigtail" anchors for barbed wire and a shoulder strap for the Enfield rifle. Editing the video was a ton of work and I spent the last 2 days on that - never done a model + diorama build on such a scale before π
I want to try "composing with color" because this is the perfect scenario - being able to paint the model and the groundwork at the same time. Basically, my idea is a gloomy, desaturated scene with the soldier standing out as the only vivid element. Partially to bring attention to him, and partially because he's the only "living" thing in the diorama.
We'll see how that goes, the plan sounds ambitious, but the reality is often very different π
