My friens, a coat of primer is that final judgment which always shows us any flaws, imperfections (or perfections π) in our build. I was very pleased to observe how the Zimmerit texture came to life and it turned out exactly the way I hoped it would!
I went with Mr. Mahogany primer instead of black because as I was listening to one of the episodes of Sprue Cutters Union podcast, they talked about something interesting. How different undercoats affect your paint, a quick example is black giving a usually warm color (yellow) a colder, dull look. And I think they're right! So because I want to use the primer as a part of post-shading, I went with a warmer, dark brown color.
Today I'm gonna hit it with AK RC Dunkelgelb and post-shade the balls out of it!
And I'm attaching my first photo from physio. 10km on a bike never felt so good!
