Finally home and much better!

My frens, it's ya boi again, back at it with another banger!

I was released from the hospital the other day, but my painkillers quickly wore out and it was... interesting to say the least haha. Today I'm much, much better! Thank you for all your nice comments, although I won't be able to reply to all of you, I've read through all of them and they helped me a lot!

So, to answer the most important question: yes, the bike is fine, not a single paint chip! 😁 I knew what I was buying when I ordered it, but didn't expect it to be such a confidence inspiring magic carpet tank that would make me overconfident and be so tough it would break my leg (I'm sure it was the weighed bike that snapped my bones).

Another thing: I didn't actually break my ankle. It's fibula and tibia, just a tad above the ankle. Which still ain't good, but it ain't FUBAR as a broken ankle!

Now, I've done some thinking about what to do next.

I'm staying bed-ridden with a pressure brace until the next Friday when they take out my stitches and put my leg into a solid cast. By that time there shouldn't be any swelling problems and I'll be able to do modelling and editing again. I'm not promising too much though, because we can all imagine it won't be the same cadence and efficiency as a healthy uncle NS who could spend 12 hours a day at the workbench 😁

Cast should be on for 5 or 6 weeks, and like I mentioned in the last post, doc says I should be able to walk (more like limp) around after that when the cast is off.

So... how does this affect the content? Well, unfortunately I won't be able to post any workbench updates for now as I'm bed-ridden. With the cast on, I'll start modelling again and "test the ground" - find out for how long I'm able to sit at the workbench, etc. But I think I'll be able to ease my way into it over a period of a few days.

As for video schedule, I want to film a very rudimentary (read: shitty phone) video talking about what happened etc and post it this Friday on Youtube. Top tier Patrons who saw the early video last week - well, you've seen it way sooner than a week 😁 Because I'll  pause the T-55 series for the time being.

Then we might do a QnA video on Youtube or something, or another talking head video about... I dunno, airbrushing or something (although that might kinda suck without demonstrating it, so probably QnA).

I thought about building a simple model in my bed lol, a T-35 from S-Model. But I think by that point I'll be able to sit and do legit work.

I guess my point is: in the next couple of weeks you won't be getting the content you totally deserve, but it'll be the best content I'll be able to produce (kinda depressing, I know 😁).

In this bed-ridden state, I'll be hanging out with y'all as usual, responding to e-mails, dm's etc. as I finally don't  feel like a reanimated corpse or floating above cloud nine. I'm more like a KT with broken transmission bogged down in bottomless Hungarian mud in spring of 1945 😁

And I can't stress this enough: thank you so much for your positive vibes, encouraging comments and messages and being so understanding. If possible, let's view this as a minor bump in the road and an involuntary summer break for a week or two.

And whoah, I see 52 glowing DM's in the corner, I'll get back to you tomorrow, alright? :)

Finally home and much better!
