My frens, here's one of the uglier camouflages I did in my life 😆 I had a few options which you'll see in the camo profiles I did during the night, and one thing about Syrian paint schemes is that... they're really ugly! From paints being used to patterns and style of application. A lot of times it looks like they took regular household paints and just slapped them randomly over the entire tank, and in some cases it had to be done by more people, each having their own idea about the finished result 😁
So I tried making it somewhat interesting and not totally chaotic. Grey was mixed from Pz Grey and lots of white, while the yellow was a standard Dunkelgelb mixture (so dark yellow + white) but with the addition of Flat Yellow.
It didn't chip as good as the green base coat, probably because I went over each patch multiple times to get a good coverage and nice, smooth transitions. I don't know why as all of that would be chipped beyond recognition, but hey, it worked out in the end!
I'm very stoked to post-shade it now using those Shaders, already tested them on a scrap model and they work perfectly, but first I should probably paint the sandbags because they feel very out of place right now 😁
Oh, and I'm getting my first vaccination shot in a few hours, wish me luck!
