First stowage bits
Added 2021-04-01 06:53:57 +0000 UTCMy friends, here's a "test piece" before I start filming the painting process. Gotta say I'm very pleased with the outcome, but I'll have to "blend" the stowage with the tank somehow... probably some enamel mud tones and more stains from oil paints.
All US backpacks have this light tan color with some variations, which makes painting rather straightforward. I simply created the base tone, lights and shadows using the same mixtures and then smoothened them out AND differentiated both packs with a glaze - one with green, the other with brown.
Some oil paints were speckled on to give them a dirty appearance, but I might add even more dirt!

I've come to the comfortable thought that my work is an artistic look, sometimes more arty or representational.. But your work is more realistic.. I am really impressed. Amazing job.
