Rust effects (subtle!)
Added 2021-03-31 10:50:35 +0000 UTCMy friends, rust tones are in place. I kept them very subtle, blending and removing excess paint multiple times, especially on the hard, cast steel surfaces. Sheet metal corrodes faster than hardened steel, so I wasn't so uptight on fenders and storage boxes.
Some of it will again get toned down with enamel earth tones, but since the model is pre-weathered to a point where I'm quite happy with the amount, they'll be very limited. Mostly just to tie the upper hull with the muddy bottom.
Up next: stowage!
