Huge mail call, next project and other news

Hey friends, with the final Sherman video completed it's time for some news 😁

A bunch of stuff arrived over the past 3 days, but first the most important question: 

The next project will be a Crusader Mk III, again from Tamiya in 1/48th scale. Initially I wanted to paint it in a dull khaki green color, but considering how many generic green tanks we built over the past few months, I'll go with the more colorful sand/dark brown camouflage. Obviously there will be a desert scenic base somewhere from the second battle of El Alamein, and it'll be my first North African tank ever!

Now for some new toys... a book about winter training exercises in Western Germany arrived, I bought it because it has some nice photos of the M103 heavy tank which can't be found online. 

Also, the Voyager PE set for 2A3 Kondensator arrived, now we have everything we need to start building it... except time 😩

I also received some very nice cutting mats from Tankraft, they're super cool! Even though the large one will be mostly hidden under a white background when I'm filming, the smaller ones will occasionally sneak their way into the shot. Maybe I'll make a construction video without the white backdrop when building a Panther, because you know, Panther + Panther cutting mat 😁I tried to lure Max into the picture but he's too shy, Maya however immediately tried if it's a new sleeping spot for her. 

Last night I bought the FAQ Diorama book, digital edition which is 30€ cheaper and I can have it in my phone. Not as comfortable as having a real book, but at least I had it immediately and it'll always be at hand. Already managed to soak up tons of information while waiting for the Sherman video to export. 800+ IQ 

And finally, the hot wire cutting station arrived just a few minutes ago! I was ordering it from Czech Republic on ebay, but I didn't expect it to arrive after like 3 days! Now I just need to figure out how to assemble it 😆

That's about it for now, my plan for today is to film a workbench tour, so I probably won't start building the Crusader today, but who knows... nah, let's rather say I'll start tomorrow 😊
