Hey guys, so yeah I actually managed to do some work last night! Because the turtle from the previous post sparked some interest I'm posting more close-ups of him/her/whatever. It's a Common snapping turtle that I've had since 2014. Back then it was a 4cm long hatchling, now I can't properly measure it anymore, but it's roughly 45 cm from tail to head đ
The T-90 progress is about 2 hours worth of cleaning, gluing and aligning of the running gear. As I expected, the fit is very loose, wheels kept falling off and their geometry was all over the place. So they need to be firmly glued in place and properly aligned... It's also one of those situations where I can't assemble the main hull parts first, as I usually like to do, because I wouldn't be able to fit the tracks.
The tracks have the dumbest design imo, they're just straight segments that need to be softened with hot water or hairdryer in order to form them around the wheels. I've left the running gear dry overnight so everything so I can attach the tracks without any damage today. Let's see how this goes, I've never done such a thing đĽś
