Hey guyyyyys!
These past days were pretty intense, but I got both videos done and today I finally returned to the Tiger, and it got dirty pretty fast. And ugly... again 🤣
So as you can see I applied and blended the Textured Earth to make the basic shape and outline of the heavy mud layers. I kept it limited to the lowest and rearmost parts of the tank because of its shape and relatively low top speed. The fact there's only one fender at the back offers some interesting possibilities with the weathering. Also the width of the tracks plays a big role, so if the side skirts were missing, mud was thrown up at the sides.
Tomorrow I'll tie it all together into a nice weathered layer using the pre-dusting method with an airbrush, and will also start with the Aqualine dry earth tones. So stoked about this stage, as I was wondering from the beginning... just how it'll look with all the dust and mud applied?? I guess we'll see soon!
