In ages long past, the short industrialists known as the Thikin came over the eastern land bridge to the continent of Baskan. When one of the grand spires fell from the heavens, landing directly into a nearby mountain range, it unearthed an active volcano. Wanting to study the spire, the Thikin built a layered city in the heart of the volcano.

Unlike most of the other races, and likely due to their mysterious past, the Thikin barons used the knowledge given by the spire to create weapons of great destruction. The test of these weapons obliterated 80% of the local region, allowing what was once forested areas to merge with the deserts in the west. Though the Thikin don't mind, as trees get in the way.

In the days since the Desecration, the Thikin have tripled production, in preparation for a demon invasion... or maybe something else.

If you plan to visit, make sure to stop at Lendon or Bayonet and let them know, otherwise you might walk into a rain of mortars from the volcanoes rocky cliffs. They won't come looking for your splattered remains either, the vultures do a good enough job cleaning that up.
