So, I've been playing the hell out of Marvel Rivals since its release late last year. People immediately started modding it after it came out, due to the absence of modding prevention - which was promptly broken not once but twice with intervening patches.
Initially, this caused me to think that the developers wanted to actively prevent modding - which is understandable as their business model revolves around selling skins to their users... but in recent patches, it seems like they've gotten less aggressive about changing things up, meaning mods are coming back up faster after each patch then before.
I'd say it's still too early in Marvel Rivals modding to really get a good read on whether or not they'll have a Hoyo like - don't ask don't tell policy towards modding, or if they're just bidding their time before crushing it all... but things for now feel stable enough to start experimenting with.
Which is to say, I've made a few mods for personal amusement and to learn the ins and outs of Marvel modding - but I'm unsure if I'll be supporting it long term. It feels like a good candidate for modding though - there's a large active userbase and the game is very popular right now... and most importantly, I'm playing it a ton, so I get to enjoy the results of the mods! :D
Anyway, for the first release, we have a Hela mod - this is for her Season 0 battle pass skin - hopefully some of you have it! I've got another variant coming for her - this one features an insertion in the form of the daggers that she spawns during combat. I figure they come from somewhere!
I've also got a Storm skin coming later.

But yeah, if you guys are interested in Marvel Rivals mods - let me know, as it'll encourage me to continue producing these - as they're otherwise very time consuming to produce (the modding process for Unreal Engine is just a lot more finicky and time consuming than the one for 3DM - you can do more in theory, but it just takes longer and requires much more technical knowledge, and I'm not quite plugged into that side of the modding community).
Also, these mods aren't really constrained by the 30 day early access rule (different modding communities) - but I'll still be releasing a variety (if not necessarily all) of these Marvel Rival mods publically - especially once I'm more certain that I'll regularly be making these.
Due to the early nature of Marvel Rivals modding, these mods can and will break as the developer patches and updates the game - and won't be permanently supported by myself. Community made tools may be available to update broken mods, but isn't guaranteed!
