Things I Been Doin // 22Jul2024

Hi Everybody!!! The release of Swimsuit Niko has gone... well... Swimmingly! No words describe the satisfaction I felt of finally getting him in a releasable state, and people other than me getting to use him, getting screenshots and footage back!!! Great stuff, to say the least.

First up: i was recently commissioned by BRONXBX to make Johnny's Shirt underneath his typical (and only) uppr drawable, after I was talking about doing thsi exact thing for a looooong time. It's not done, but I'm basically in the final stretch after all this time.

Here it is, sans collar. (GOD I hate reconstructing shirt collars) And still a verye arly version of the texture, I know i need to dodge the hell out of that left side.

The turnaround on these wacky custom jobs, re: my method and my motivation becomes touch and go with whatever knockbacks i face and how Daunting the task is, when Johnny's shirt has zero equivalents in IV or anything similar for fabrics, so that was a lot of making something out of hardly anything, compared to say, the Niko Cableknit (which deserves a redo, being so old!) which had multiple instances on pedestrians of larger portions of that sweater.

Here's the collar about to be reconstructed. I need to finish this and get some good wrinkles baked. 

In other news... My July has been spent working on something near and dear to my heart.

 This is my website. Ever since I was a child, browsing Geocities for sprite comics to read, I always wanted my very own. Geocities shut down in 2009 as many of you know, but a few of you may be aware of its revival, NeoCities, where I've just made a home. I love my site man. Other than being a little personal space not connected to some giant corporation, I now also have a place to present my mods the way I want to present them!

 And a new, beautiful place to put a scrolling list of ALL OF YOUR NAMES!!! That right there is a marquee. Screenshots don't do it justice. It does that thing where if you mouse over it, it stops in place, and when you mouse over my buttons for getting to the mods, well... See for yourself!

The great thing is that I have some publicly available mods that are great mods, don't get me wrong, but I don't want stuff like say, simple conversions clogging up my GTAInside, which is why I always release here on Patreon. Now i get to put it all in one visible place! NIKO SPINS! See, I debated making my turnarounds high framerate APNGs, similar to as if i just had an MP4 i was playing on loop, but I get the warm fuzzy feeling seeing him slightly compressed as a GIF.

I still need to work on making these GIF displays, rewriting descriptions, adding notes... But it's pretty awesome.

What I really need to hustle with is the Summer '08 Collection that I hope to get a number of pieces in for by the end of Summer, obviously. And this will be coming with Patron Exclusives, don't you worry!!! Things have been absolutely nuts at home and everything I do wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you.
