I always thought they shouldโve had this part at the beginning of the Christmas special instead of locked away in a short most people probably skip. I feel like itโs such an important moment especially for Roseโs reaction. Still great to see as is though, and you can already feel the chemistry between Billie and David through that one soft convo about the first time they met. Really top notch stuff (:

2023-12-25 11:29:31 +0000 UTCThe reason for the (really over-long) recap was because the previous episode was broadcast in June 2005, whereas this special was broadcast in November as part of a charity event. I guess they thought that whilst people who had avidly followed the series would remember the events, casual "Children in Need" viewers may not have a clue about the events that preceded this minisode. Merry Christmas to you sir! Thanks for this extra present!
