hi! found you on youtube and have now started to binge watch. i really like the stopping! i’ve seen this show 1B times, but i don’t always pick up on the subtle details in acting. i think you add some really interesting insight into the acting side of things. i see your a bit into s2 & hope you’ve continued to do the pauses!

It's lovely to find someone who has this deeper analysis of the acting - I've adored this show since I was a child, and yet I'm still finding new things to appreciate about it because of people like you giving me insights into things I'm not as aware of. Thank you. I especially like how much you appreciated Annette Badland's acting as Blon; she really is great here. Coincidentally, I've been listening to Whoniverse audio dramas (there are a LOT of them) and I just listened to one with her in it. Obviously, it's better to have the visuals of Annette's acting as well, but nonetheless she was good in that too.

2024-01-30 21:42:44 +0000 UTCI much prefer this episode to World War III. I’m glad the Slitheen actually get a decent outing in this episode, as they’re not my favourite villains and I find most of their episodes uninteresting, but this one always stood out to me as the outlier.

If you talked over the show and missed parts, that would be frustrating. Pausing/replaying lets you comment and draw attention to important things, which is what we're here for <3
