Its just too difficult for the shapes and aiming everything. To get it correct you'd probably need to 3D scan the whole front of the car with the A-Pillars on and off (the speakers are actually a fair bit inside of the A-Pillar, so can't just get the outside geometry). Or just a whole bunch of trial and error. Would be worth it if you wanted to build 10, but for just a one off only 3D printing the speaker mounts and popsicle sticks is much easier.
