Hi, all my patrons!
The work is in progress step by step.
The work is getting slower than I thought.
I think her upper body is almost complete. I still need to trim her hair and face a bit more, but the gloves and mechanical arms are about 80% complete.
Now it's time to split the knee and leg and make it mechanical. It's a bit of a struggle. And the thing is, the design themes of the arms and legs are a bit different.
I'll probably proceed as it is without any changes, but I'll try to work as much as possible to create a similar feeling.
This week is a holiday in Korea and China. I went home, but I came back early because I had a lot of work. I have some other schedules tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, so I won't be able to upload much work on Thursday.
And the second and third pictures are the result of the silicon mold casting finally being completed.
After four to five failures in almost two months, this is the result. I don't want to waste the amount of resin and silicone used, but I finally found out how to extract it well.
However, for now, I am hesitating to commercialize the work we cast.
First of all, profitability is a little ambiguous. Considering the cost of materials and the amount of labor that goes into it, both methods are similar in price. Honestly, even if it takes time now, 3d printing and packaging are convenient.
The second reason is that I'm worried about having to re-part my old works.
My works had no problem printing, but most of the work I have to re-part back to cast.
The priority plan is to cast a simple one among the works made of busts.
I will continue to grow technically and artistically. Thank you for watching and supporting me.
