2025.06.09 - About what I've been up to and what I'm planning for the future.

Hi, all my patrons!

Today, inevitably, I think it will be a chatty post rather than showing the progress of the next task.

First of all, the biggest of all, the next event, Malcolm 2025, will start this weekend. So this week, I have no choice but to focus all my attention on the packaging and preparation for departure. The event will be held in Penang, Malaysia, and it is the first overseas event that I participate in, so I am going through intense tension and paranoid preparation. There is a Korean proverb, "You can't get full on the first drink." I believe that no matter how much I prepare, there will be inadequacies and that the results will not come out the way I think. However, I hope that I can get good results as much as I have invested. I hope there will be a chance to meet good people and good buyers.

The second photo is for delivery to the Korean War Memorial. In Korea, military miniature exhibitions are held every year, and the event is held at the Korean War Memorial. I'm a little distracted because I'm working on shrinking the statues in the exhibition hall. Maybe the new work will be delayed a little more because I have to finish this work as soon as I return from the event. (Maybe it's almost finished, so I'll make some modifications, and the printing takes a lot of time, so I'll be able to get started sooner than I thought.)

And there's another work in progress, and I think it'll probably be fixed. There's a business item suggested by another Korean photographer, and I heard that some people ask costume players to make small miniatures. It's done using AI and my carving skills, so it won't take much time, so it won't interfere with our work. I think it can be a little more stable financially.

So that's what's happening now and let's talk a little bit about the future.

I've been doing this for the past few years, but I feel that my skills are insufficient and I'm slightly retreating financially. Financially, it's being supplemented in other physical places, so I'm still surviving.

Sometimes I think about what the problem is, but I think there was a lot of avoidance without much challenge when producing.

I get the things I want to make and the themes of long-term subscribers, and sometimes I don't feel like they're a big challenge.

So what I'm feeling is that I'm going to vote again to select a topic like I did in the past. Sometimes, when I think about the past, I think it's rare in recent years that I've been thinking about and carving my head around as much as I was trying to produce an unfamiliar topic and producing the best results.
