This post is about to talk about a small painting competition in Korea and how I feel about it.
The first three pictures are by Painter called The Onion Knight. They won first and third places at the Golden Demon held in the U.S.
I've only been in this miniature industry for about three years, and I wasn't really interested in painting. I'm just a person who loves to carve characters. But I saw a bunch of passionate painters in this small competition, and I thought I should work harder to make them have more fun hobbies and make my work look better.
It was a miniature-loving individual competition, and about 40 painters participated. I was in charge of trophy making (last picture).
They're photographs of participating works. It's been a very interesting experience, and I also think that I need to do some painting, not sculpture and printing, to help me develop my work.
If I have a chance, I want to start with a small warhammer miniature and have the ability to paint my work.
It was very meaningful to hold such a competition in Korea, where miniature painting is a very minor hobby.
