SNEAK PREVIEW of an upcoming story!

Behold, my thumbnails for a new story I wrote and laid out for the upcoming Marvel anthology book Venomverse Reborn #2, due out on 7/24; this is an 8-pager that revisits the universe I first explored in the 2019 one-shot Venom: The End.

I don't think that these "thumbs" constitute SPOILERS of any sort, really, due to the fact that A) I'm pretty sure you can't figure out the story's narrative from these sketchy images; and B) the, uh, ending of Venom: The End is already established.

The gist of the Venomverse Reborn anthology is to explore multiversal variations of Venom; a possible SPOILER, I suppose, is that we'll find out in this 8-pager what The End's very specific iteration of Venom thinks about the Marvel Multiverse as a whole.

I felt that I had to do these really g-d elaborate thumbnails because the story relied so heavily on figurative and/or symbolic imagery from The End that couldn't be easily or clearly explained purely by descriptive text.

These thumbnails were done entirely in Clip Studio Paint for once, which I kinda had to do as I was pasting in all kinds of existing imagery from Venom: The End and other sources

Anyhoo, I broke the "thumbs" up into separate pages for your reading convenience in the gallery above; enjoy, I guess?

And now, back to scripting the oversized first issue of Unidentified Fantasy Offering (aka Godplayers, the project's real title)!
