'Maid' is finished

Hi, all my patrons!

Clink here to Download / PW:20220812

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Maid' is finished. There are two hair versions. And there's a naked, lingerie, and a clothed versions.

I always try to look at the work objectively after work is over. This may be a little too much talk, but I'm going to write a personal critique. When I look at my work, I feel hopeless for some reason.

Pose, expression, theme, etc. It's a work that wasn't satisfactory.  It could be because they were pressed for time. But I know very well that giving me more time won't make much of a difference.

I feel like I'm in a slump now. I think it's probably a pain Pain to improve skills. but it's still pretty painful.

This weekend, I'm going to think about it a day or two rather than the work process, organize it, and talk with you.

I need to stop whining and start working again! Next, I'm going to do a deforming work for 35mm. I haven't decided which work will be made in a smaller size. I'm going to deform the easy ones first.

Pre-supported will be uploaded as soon as Shuarin completes the work.

Downloads are available until August 12.

People are writing about the poses so I'll leave my input too. I like your poses most of the time. If I'm not happy about a pose I don't dislike it (the only one I dislike is the Amazon because she looks like she would fall off the panther once it starts running, I would like her much more if she would be standing freely or holding the panther tightly with legs using saddle and stirrups, I love the orc bust but there is one aspect to the pose I dislike - the way how she handles the axe is weird - you wouldn't do anything with an axe not holding it tightly). I have one remark about the current sculpt. Initially I thought it was a broom. Brooms have some stiffness to them so that general shape was fine. It looks like a mop though and mops of such type have no stiffness. It does not look like it is in motion and it is not flat on the floor. If the fibers would look like in motion of a swing made behind her back or laying flat on the floor I think it would look more interesting.

Overall I enjoy your work, but won't lie that I been finding it a bit underwhelming. I think your sculpt abilities are truly really good, and take well into account anatomy. The ladies are also sexy and the variants and clothes are usually awesome. But still, most models end up missing that "oomph"/exciting factor to them. I think there are a few main things that currently end up contributing to this that could be improved: - The ladies often look too similar: it almost feels like its the same character just with a slight change of clothes. There's limited variety in terms of overall body shapes, even if at times boobs/butts are slightly bigger or smaller, or hair is a bit different. Would be good to have a better feeling that each model is truly a different person. - Limited facial expressions. This is similar to the point discussed above, same comments apply. - Stiff poses: I think most models truly look a bit too stiff, almost if characters are "holding position" waiting for a photo of them to be taken. At times this is good enough, but sometimes it feels like it misses the mark. I'd LOVE to see you try more stuff that feels alive, like as if it was a snapshot of something that was truly happening. - Limited number of details surrounding the figure: clothes and character accessories are often on-point, but the base is SUPER lackluster. Maybe would be good to experiment with some sort of scenery and additional elements related to the theme that aren't attached/hold by the character. Making it feel more like a small "diorama" in a way. Here for example, maybe you could have the texture of kitchen floor + a piece of furniture nearby, something really simple (although preferably if it interacts with the model somehow) I think you definitely have the skills that it takes to get your craft to the next level, and even though its a painful feeling to look at your work and feel frustrated by its current level, it's a great thing that you seem to be constantly looking to improve! You'll get there, just keep up the good work! :)
