A Cold Welcome Afterstory Two Finale

Decided to add a biiiit more and finish off this part of the Afterstory as it was long enough.

Next part will be Kaguya's talk with the Two S's and Corrin showing off her strength in the Training Grounds

Sigrun and Sirin awoke to a knock on their door. The end was nigh.

“Gah! How long- Sirin get off me! I overslept!? WHY IS THERE SO MUCH GAS EVERYWHERE!?” Sigrun screamed as she hastily stood up, weighed down by the massive Melusine’s coils as Sigrun hastily and grumpily threw them off of her.

“Who is it?” Sigrun tried to control her voice a bit, but she still sounded like she was yelling in anger as Sirin woke up. Sirin rubbed her eyes, she was a bit of a heavy sleeper and usually Isaac would wake his retainer over the course of several minutes. “Get up Sirin you useless snake! Someone’s at the door!” Sigrun barked at Sirin as she finally pulled herself free of all of Sirin’s coils.

“You don’t need to be Hyyaawwwnn nnggh… One second.” Sirin groaned as she stretched her wings and arms, still looking half dead with sleep though she was gorgeous even then. Sigrun stomped her hooves to get her blood flowing even more, she couldn’t believe she slept on the floor all night! While Centaurs could sleep all night on the floor like humans and wouldn’t risk hurting their lungs like normal horses, sleeping while standing was much better for a warrior like Sigrun so she could wake up at a moment’s notice!

Sigrun fanned her tail quickly, her cheeks blazing as Sirin was still too tired to notice… the room was full of flame colored gas… and some foul smelling gas lurking within! The two of them had been farting all night together like… like… like barn animals!!! Sigrun almost wanted to growl at Sirin and throw a bucket of water at her to wake her up, but instead she made sure her and Sirin’s clothes were decent and opened the door hastily.

(This must be for our executions…) Sigrun thought as the door revealed… Irina? That could be very good or very bad…

“Irina? What is it? Is our time finally up?” Sigrun asked in a panic as Irina rose from her bow with a confused look.

“Huh? Sigrun are you okay? You’ve got something on your head…” Irina spoke up gently as Sigrun quickly felt the top of her head before wincing. There seemed to be two red bumps growing under the skin and they were quite sensitive… Did that idiot snake throw her around the room while they slept? Or did this possibly when her Master- Sigrun shook the thought out of her head as if it were poisonous. She absolutely was forbidden from remembering what she did to Corrin!

“I’m fine Irina. Just a bruise. What’s going on? Why are you here. And what time is it?” Sigrun asked as she stepped outside carefully… after all she didn’t have a Trompache on right now and really didn’t need anyone to see her Morning Wood…

“It is nearly 10 A.M Sigrun. Lady-“

“TEN!? WHY DID YOU LET US SLEEP FOR SO LONG!? OH Gods, oh Gods just smite meeee! Not only did I do all… THAT! But I overslept like trash that cares more about herself than her Master!” Sigrun barked as she turned and glared daggers down at Irina. Irina backed up a little but did not cower or anything. She knew Sigrun’s temper was basically all bark and no bite, unlike Lady Corrin’s temper tantrums which were a deadly mix of both.

“Lady Kaguya instructed us to let you both sleep. Though she got bored that you had not woken up yet and said you are not allowed to sleep in all day. She said she is waiting for you-“ Now Sirin was wide awake and at the door as her brain had processed that it was already 10 A.M and Lady Kaguya was waiting for them. Perhaps the worst person in the entire Kingdom to leave waiting on you…

“”We’ll be right there!”” Both Retainers reported in unison as they slammed the door and hastily got dressed. Irina gave a soft smile at her two friends, though that smile turned into barely repressed snickering when she saw a hastily painted sign on the side of the door of what was very clearly a rump blowing gas and the words “FIRE HAZARD” next to it.

“Oh Goodness.” Irina couldn’t help but giggle for a few minutes until she heard the door open, and her professionalism took over once again.

Twenty minutes later, and many times scolding Sigrun so she didn’t dart off at full speed. The trio arrived at the Insta-House made for Lord Cassinder and Lady Kaguya. It was far more extravagant than the box made for Sigrun and Sirin… Twice… This was a house all it’s own with multiple rooms, though far smaller than the Mansion. Any person could gladly take this for a home for the rest of their lives.

“The Makyrs truly are fearsome!” Irina was all smiles, unlike her companions. Sigrun looked like an anxious puppy constantly looking left and right to find Corrin, and Sirin had devolved into a glum worm, softly crying “Master…” over and over again. It looked like the two were walking, or rather trotting and slithering, to their hanging…

Irina looked up at Vaeril and the two Servants exchanged a quick knowing glance. Vaeril, despite being lower in ranking than Sigrun and Sirin, spoke up first.

“Young Ladies. I will give you a minute to compose yourselves before meeting Lady Kaguya.” Vaeril spoke up with his voice soft yet fatherly as Sigrun and Sirin nodded. Both taking deep breaths and calming themselves down. It was time to meet their fates…
