Introduction to Qyerath, told by a thousand eyes part 3
Added 2023-09-20 07:40:18 +0000 UTCThis one is a bit HEAVY! And also has some fetish/ ero-horror stuff in it too. Lot of plot told by our resident voidling! Let me know what you all think!
----------------------------
The next target of the Golden Order Gods was… If I recall Irixi, the Silent Weaver, mother of the Arachne. But the loss of Uruth had shaken the Golden Order Gods, and the loss of the Great Devourer had shaken the New Order, except Greyoll of course who only channeled her fury into bigger and more powerful pregnancies than the last! The Dragon Goddess had begun birthing what would be called the Calamity Dragons, each one was practically a minor god already! And as I said before, every time Greyoll birthed, her own power grew too!
So Greyoll was a… very happy tenant, no, camper? I think I messed that up. Either way! She channeled her hunger and fury and made the Calamity Dragon of Fire, Ice, Storms, Earth- no not the planet of course, Terra Prima is the only true Earth remember! But tons of things like to be called Earth too like Earth Elementals. Qyerath Elementals just sounds silly, doesn’t it? And then she birthed the Calamity of Plagues, Monica as she would name herself after. That wasn’t her birth name though. I think it was Mor’Vrash or sooomething? Monica sounds much nicer honestly! Greyoll then became almost… ill as her body readied for the next child, and for once, the Goddess of Dragons went into hiding. Something was special about her next baby, and even she didn’t know if she could handle the power slowly building in her womb. Obviously Zuthar and the Golden Order Gods learned that Greyoll had begun hiding to gestate whatever horror was coming next, and they went on the hunt for Greyoll!
But that wasn’t enough. Zuthar wanted more power, wanted to cement himself as the supreme God of Qyerath once and for all… so the God of Order concocted a terrible plan to take the power of the one who was benefitting most from the war… his wife Rula who had stayed neutral all this time. While Zuthar concocted his plan to deal with Rula as she continued birthing her own monstrosities into the world and feeding off the endless chaos of the God-Slaying War, the goddess of Death, sister of Rula was surprisingly trying her hand at being a goddess of Life! That was a joke… you were supposed to get it!
Did Velex make her own species like the other Gods? Ohhhhhh I didn’t tell you that! Sorry! No wonder you didn’t laugh! A thousand-thousand brains and I still forget the silliest things!
Velex like some of the other New Order Gods, had taken to the mortal plane like the Primal Beasts, and she was being wooed quuuite- well by the Greatest King of Humanity. That’s his actual title, not a belief! As I said, the Elves had crowned their first King and begun making their capital of Sylvhelm. But the Origin Race was getting sick of killing themselves and anything else that moved! So one man slowly rose and built a great city, and from that city he would begin to rally Humans and other races from all over to his cause, uniting them under the New Order! His name was Ajax Erasmis Therranis. Oooo~ Even saying his name still gives me shivers! Ajax was both a fighter and a lover you see~ He absolutely loved his harems! But there was one who would become his queen, surprising pretty much everyone on the entire planet except the Plaguewalkers who were still rebuilding! That’s right! Velex herself! And to even MORE surprise! She got pregnant with Ajax’s children! That’s right! The Goddess of Death was pregnant by a mortal! Everyone was shocked! But this was Ajax! The Greatest King of Humanity! Champion of Champions! Ajax had even scored a few of the Golden Order minor Gods on his list! Er- book? Tally? He committed Deicide!
No one knew how he did it though of course! Whether Velex fell for his charm, or his foolishness, or his brazen insanity and ideals! Or perhaps some strange force brought them together! But either way, some how, the King of Kings welcomed the Goddess of Death to his bed chambers and… this is from personal experience… he would kick us other wives out of the bed so Velex could have him alone for a few turns! How do I know that? I told you I live a thousand lives at once heeheee! Ajax was~ Ooooh my scales are shuddering just thinking of him.
Sorry! I’ll move on!
So, Zuthar had heard this, and was disgusted that a Mortal had mated with a God, especially a Major God like Velex! But even more, he was worried. As Velex baby bump swelled by the day with divine children, and they had still not found Greyoll, plus with Velex full of life, there was a big chance that Rula would now side with the New Order!
Then, Zuthar finally struck with his terrible, horrible plan… though really it was quite ingenious! The Sun and Qyerath’s two moons disappeared from the sky, and everyone was shocked. Zelez, the Tripartite- ah that means three in one- Goddess had been captured. See, if she had been slain, then the Moons would have cracked or something terrible, and the Star of Qyerath would have blazed savagely until a new God ascended or was born and took control again! But that didn’t happen, instead the Sun was just gone as well as the Two Moons! It was honestly scary as I saw it myself! The sky was like… hmm… it was almost perpetually dark, but yet not dark. The sky was red and black at the same time, with the rest of the stars lighting up the world yet not lighting up the ground! It was as if the entire world was in the shadow of a big building or something! And you can imagine how no Moons suddenly began ruining the tides!
So in a panic, Rula stopped creating her shadowy celestial beasts, and she began scouring the world for her daughter. As Zelez was alive, but for how long? Oh, I didn’t say? Well yeah there you go! Zelez is Rula’s daughter. Zelez, Zhelan, Zira. The Three Sisters in one body. Now, Rula began a mad search for her daughter and cleaved islands apart until she found a temple constructed by the Faithful Sons, the biggest worshippers of Zuthar. This temple was wide open for Rula and Rula tore inside it, finding it completely unguarded, and with a tunnel leading down and down and down… Rula delved into this tunnel for miles, past the Great Hollows and Crystal Caverns and the Glowing Sea under the world… until she reached the beating core of Qyerath itself. And there she found her daughter, forcibly split into her three forms. Zelez, the Radiant Sun, Zhelan, the moon of Life and Tides, and Zira, the moon of Harmony. Rula could smashed the chains with all her might and slowly began to break them… unaware she had fallen into a trap, too blinded by grief and rage to notice.
See, those chains had been made by Orthus Maul… though not by his will. Zuthar had kidnapped his lover and well, I think you can sympathize with him. But the chains fed on Rula’s power with each strike she laid into them. Snapping one by one from each daughter after draining chunks of Rula’s divine might. Each chain now held more power than a few minor Gods each! But that was not enough for Zuthar. Once Zira had been freed and Zelez had reformed properly… Zuthar sliced into his wife’s belly from behind with his golden blade. Showering the entire world in a searing light as Rula’s scream could be heard by every living thing. Even weakened, Rula turned and readied to tear Zuthar’s heart from his chest. But Herringal and Umaya arrived, and grabbed Rula’s arms as she cursed her husband and begged Zelez to escape. But Zelez was rooted in fear, too weak from her capture, and too terrified as she cried for her Father to stop. Zuthar did not. Taking his sword, he ripped it out of Rula’s back and began cutting her into pieces, chunks of Goddess fell to the ground, but that wasn’t enough. Zuthar summoned some of his champions and they hacked Rula’s body into tinier and tinier pieces. But Zuthar was stunned to realize…
Rula was piecing herself back together, his golden blade that had ripped the life of millions could not kill her. So Zuthar went from one horrible act to another as if it were breathing to him. He grabbed the beating heart of Rula, a black orb that consumed the light around it, yet shined with countless stars within, and he jammed it into Zelez screaming mouth. Forcing his daughter to swallow the heart of her Mother as Zelez choked and screamed. Zelez's mind shattered as her stomach bulged with pieces of her mother. A Matricide unlike any other.
And this time, in what would become known as the day of Black Sky, even the stars and cold blackness of the heavens ceased to be. Leaving nothing but a broken grey sky that haunted all alive.
Ah I am sorry… this is rather dark isn’t it? Let’s move on to what comes next. Remember, Zuthar does get his just fragging! Oh wait wrong phrase… Just desserts!
Rula’s body was scattered across the world, even placed into the Plaguelands, and Zuthar fashioned the chains that had absorbed her power to his golden blade and armor, Zuthar also bound her soul to the core of the world, as despite his new immense power, he could not kill his wife fully. Perhaps it was love? Or he was too weak… Zuthar was a Grkyesh after all. Though later, the largest pieces of Rula would come to life, becoming different things like the Dream Eaters and Shattered Shoggoths! And eventually Rula’s chosen kin, a cult that ate a few of her pieces and became the… Aera… Aera somethings… they would start finding more of their Goddess and slowly trying to free her! And eventually they would free her soul with the help of Velex and a few others, though that would be after the war.
Now back on track. In retaliation for the horror Zelez had witnessed, Velex vowed not to rest until her sister had been avenged and Zuthar suffered the fate. No Velex wouldn’t make Zelez eat her father! I mean Velex would chop up Zuthar and scatter him across the world! Then came the birthing of the True Deathless. Velex birthed two daughters and one son, the first Vampire, the first Dullahan, and the first Oni. The first Demigods of the New Order had been born. And Velex showered them with love and told them of her fury. Velex declared to all the people of King Erasmis’ city, as Ajax only liked to be called Ajax by his friends and wives, that she would do worse than what she had done to the Rhe’Ghal when they captured her and tore out her power and a chunk of her soul. She swore that every Golden Order God, Champion, even mortal that so much as KNEW what was to become of Rula and her niece would join her belly with the souls of the deceased Revenants!
Orthus was… well… he was beaten severely for making the chains. He used to have six arms you know? But after that. Orthus Maul pledged himself to Velex and the New Order would rescue his lover, and he would forge the greatest weapons the world had ever seen. The Null Blades. Blades of sheer darkness made from the divine energy of Velex, Zelez, and a few of Rula’s pieces they had found.
So, armed with a Null Blade each. Velex and Ajax’s children went off to war. Orissa the first Dullahan, Ryka the first Vampire, and Threxx, the first Oni. Unlike other undead like Zombies, Ghosts, Displacers, and more beasts that escaped Velex’s warm bosom and heavenly realm and were cursed to wander the world until they were put to rest. The Death Defiers were given power over Death itself. Able to revive themselves in battle or shrug off decapitation and place their heads back on, even resurrecting other allies! They were among the three great tide changers of the war. Oh yeah, they were absolutely amazing and savage! Threxx started a competition with his siblings- to give the head of every slain conspirator to their mother! And they delivered dozens of heads! Even a few minor Gods!
I said there were three tide changers? Well yeah, I already said two of them! After that betrayal, the horror of what they had done, and the threat by Velex and her children made several of the Golden Order Gods defect to the New Order and plead for their lives! The Major God, Zarahi, was spared as he had not known of the conspiracy at all, but the rest… well. Velex belly grew several inches that day as she feasted on several of the Gods that surrendered. And not a single one besides Zarahi was spared. Those Velex did not eat, her children and other champions slayed with the Null Blades. The Null Blades worked terrifyingly. They attacked both body and soul and when a God was killed with a Null Blade, there was nothing for Velex to eat.
So, the Golden Order had just lost a dozen allies, Velex had basically become the leader of the New Order and was… hellbent? I think that’s right? It is? Wonderful! Velex was hellbent on slaughtering the Golden Order as much as she could. But then Greyoll, swollen nearly to bursting with her greatest catastrophe yet… finally birthed her last child. Well~ Last official child heeheee. You can’t stop a breeder like that from wanting more babies you know!
Surrounded by the Calamities. Greyoll nearly died laying the egg of the Maelstrom. Not because it was super huge or something, though it was a big egg! But because there was so much power coursing through her body and pulsing through her womb! Monica once told me that her mother’s womb glowed like a second son, and her skin was so hot it burned all the Calamities except Farramuss! But after a deadly labor, the egg had been laid and the world shuddered… a wave of fear coursing through everything that knew it’s place on the food chain, and even Gods were on this food chain. Greyoll slumbered and healed herself as the egg of the Maelstrom was protected by all its siblings. So much power leaking from the egg it acted as a beacon for all the Gods and Primal Beasts.
And so, the New Order rushed to protect the child of their ally, and the Golden Order rushed to slay this beast in its crib… is that the right phrase? Well, slay her before she hatched, ah damnit I spoiled it’s a she!
