Behind the Scenes: October Part 1

Hey, guys! 

I'm sorry for the recent gap between the new chapters. I'm getting ready to go out of town for Ry and Lynx's wedding this weekend. Normal chapters will resume on October 25th. In the meantime, let me show you what's happening behind the scenes, and afterward, I'll post a Catgirls NSFW commission I think everyone will enjoy.

Volume 3 Illustrations

Comt has been hard at work on Volume 3's scene illustrations. We have three sketches so far:

Kirti's intro.

Tristan and Ara.

And my personal favorite...

Celestia herself.

Volume 3 will have two full-spread art pieces (which take up two pages), as well as a few bonus drawings from Tristan's sketchbook at the end. I'm really looking forward to putting it all together.

I also got another update from GBS for the cover:

Since the end of vol. 2/beginning of 3 is where things start getting pretty dark, I really enjoy the tonal swift for the overall book cover.

 Volume 2 Audiobook/Paperback

Me, Lynx/Cat, and a few other helpful hands have been going through the paperback and ebook versions of this one with a fine-tooth comb. I'll have a better idea of when the books will ship out for preorders as soon as the edits are finished. That will also be when the audiobook begins production.

The good news is the cover art for the audiobook is ready!

Rock did an incredible job on this one. I'll post the full-res version soon.

Saphira Tier Pins

Maon finished up the October design for the first acrylic pin that'll go out to Saphira Tier patrons and above!

She looks perfect, and I can't wait to start production on them! For November, we'll have Cannoli holding a fresh-baked pie. And then in December, Ceres will be our Spirit of Christmas. 

Maon's already got a good idea for Valentine's Day, too.

Halloween Commission

Our generous overlord, Sky, is bankrolling a Halloween commission of Finn, Yomi, and Ravyn. I was lucky to sneak onto AridanBlack's commission list for my favorite holiday. 

It was also the first time I had a chance to put together a reference sheet for Finn.
