Hey all,
Friggen finally! Revamp v15 is here. This is Chapter 7 part 2 of 3. It's no secret that this update has been tough and that I underestimated the workload but I hope you like it. I've played through it a few times and this is so much better than the original section was.
Following the emotional events of Chapter 6, Chapter 7 was a struggle to write and it always felt flatter than I had liked. This version does exactly what the story needs to do: it doesn't try to 1-up Chapter 6, it simply goes in a new direction and I think this version just feels inherently more comfortable. It's fun, quirky, lots of teasing and banter, some pretty serious moments, and more skin than we've seen in a long time. Plus we just get to see more of the world-- a lot more of the world.
For those of you that never played the original: i hope you enjoy the day away from campus. For those of you who played or liked the original story here, I hope there's an entirely new light to this part.
I know it took me longer than usual but I hope you see that it was worth it.

Been a busy week but oh my god! What an update. Love the colors and new perspectives. Even the subtle changes are great!! "Night Zack" at the end just melted me. Love what you have done!! Kudos to you Aaryn and your team!!!!

2025-03-01 06:16:42 +0000 UTCwell a ton of major visual changes and stuff but yeah, the small things were just a few extra lines here and there and the facial expressions imo. i feel like at this point, i should've just called the game Braden's Face cause it tells half the story. the short zack space out scene in the bar was completely rewritten though. the old one was meh and it just felt way more impactful. everything else i think was just banter cause i really enjoy writing characters that tease the fuck outta each other :p

It's been a long time since i went through the original story, but i remember clearly that this level of feelings wasn't generated for me. I'm absolutely obsessed!!! And unfortunately desperate for the next one now lol

In so many ways this is just as big as chapter 6, not in the grand scale of the events, but in the way you can feel the deeper emotional connection and the change in the relationship throughout this whole section. I was moved to tears at one point!!

2025-02-28 18:26:45 +0000 UTCI stayed up for 15 Hours STRAIGHT after the update announcement! 3 of those was due to an internet outage in my area, one was due to download, and unzip time holy hell I'm proud of myself for this one. and I was blown away from start to finish. the textures, the lighting, the scenery. I see why this update took longer and it SHOWS! you made huge improvements by absolute leaps and bounds. I could CRY right now!

2025-02-27 23:08:31 +0000 UTChey, thanks so much. honestly: i'm with you. if i'd never played before: i think the waits are worth it. it ends up feeling more like episodes and i really do try and stop the updates at a spot that makes sense just like an episode would. the quality of this one is far superior to the original. buuuuut i also know that some have a hard time waiting when the ending is just right there! but thanks so much and just so you know: we have a ton of story left
