Water Fix Image Pack

Hey all,

Quick post today. A few weeks ago, I was discussing the updated water textures that we'll be seeing in v14 of the Revamp. But to keep things consistent throughout the entire game, all of the previous water images had to be re-rendered.

A lot of you have asked in the past how you could help with the project and this is a good opportunity to get some community testing that will save me a ton of time while I finish up v14. So if you want to help, this is the post for you.

Attached is a zipped folder with 127 updated pool images. Once downloaded, you can replace your existing pool images in your game folder.

At that point, you can replay the previous game, update--whatever. The two things I'm looking for are 1) any bugs or game crashes about a missing image, and 2) if you spot any water pics that my color-blind ass missed. In the old pictures the water isn't transparent at all and it's really dark and murky looking.

If you see any problems, let me know either on this post, private message, or through the Discord. This gives me time to fix them so everything is polished and caught up once v14 drops.

This is how the water will look moving forward in all subsequent updates.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download the game.zip file that's attached to this post or you can click on this link to download from my google drive.

2. Unzip the folder just like you would any of the regular game updates. You can either use Windows itself to do this or another program of your choice (I like 7-zip)

3. Double click on your Str8Remake folder to open it. You should see a folder inside called "game" and a few other files below it something like "android.json, errors, log, bundle.keystore..." stuff like that.

4. Drag the new unzipped "game" folder from this message into that Str8Remake folder to replace the existing "game" folder. (Don't drag the new "game" folder on top of the existing "game" folder or it'll drop the new images inside the existing folder and you'll have a mess).

5. If you did it right, you should see a message asking if you want to replace 127 images. Click yes 'cause you're rockstar and you're all done. You should be able to boot the game normally and all the new water textures will show up in the story.

Alternatively, you can just browse through the image folders to see if I missed any images. These should all still work in game but sometimes I miss stuff so if you find problems, let me know :)
