We're squeezing all we can out of the last couple of weeks of their summer break. Seems like a lot of other kids are back in school already (boo). How does summer fly by so fast?! โ๏ธ

Back on YouTube this week with a travel vlog from my training simulation weekend in Tahoe, where I will be participating in my first ever trail event there this October. Iโm actually surprised that in over 14 years of making videos, Iโve never shared a โWhatโs In My Carโ before. I actually combed through my archives just to be sure ๐คทโโ๏ธ Well, I guess nowโs a good a time as any! Iโve been asked to show how I organize my momivan and Iโm going to share, but not as an organization video. This will be an unfiltered, unprepped, this-is-what-it-is kind of video and you and I are going to find out whatโs in there together because I sure as hell donโt know. I also have a high school freshman starting football and heโs conditioned all summer and we were told he couldnt miss it ๐ Help! LOL itโs all ๐ I canโt wait to learn about this sport(it only took 3 years to figure out baseball) โพ๏ธ you are right there is not time .

2024-08-21 15:38:12 +0000 UTCI was in your neck of the woods last weekend and I loved it! My sister lives in VA and I live in CO so we met in Chicago for a sister's weekend. We stayed downtown at the Knickerbocker, which was perfect for walking everywhere. We had the BEST time! We at at Giordanno's and Dollop and Ralph's coffee shop, went to the lake and Navy Pier, shopped on Michigan Ave, went to a concert that got rained out (but made the most of it), had dinner at The Drake, and did tons of walking and laughing. I love Chicago, even in the rain.
