Changkyun's vibrato is really interesting it's really fast and tight almost like a quiver. Just something I noticed during the listen :) my favorites in his discography are Blame and More from the Overdrive album, MMI, and flower-ed from Duality. I think overall Overdrive is still my favorite project from him but honestly his music is just my vibe and I listen to his albums all the time. He's never let me down, and I just adore him.

2024-04-10 03:03:55 +0000 UTCOh by the way I forgot to say how I understood LURE's Lyrics and MV. I think through out the MV he is reminiscing on their Relationship. I think it ended because they aren't on the same page. She wants to keep the relationship a secret and he was trying his best to do that but in the end he wants everyone to know about them so it gets harder for him and that's why they fight. At the end of the song he asks her "can you love me out loud?". I guess she broke up with him because he isn't keeping that promise of doing everything she wants. If you notice all the dates were at night. In the black and white memories they where always alone there wasn't anyone around. He is still chasing her because he still wants her even if it is literally breaking him (the images of the house crumbling). The end of the video is just the moment when she finally arrives home everything else was just him thinking back to his memories and emotions.

Besides that this hole album is a very comfortable and relax type but at the same time it feels like this relax type comes from hard work and so much effort he gave for his work. My favorite songs are nbdy and LURE .I just like the vibe of this two track.

2024-04-04 19:50:28 +0000 UTCMy favorite song by him is Habit, which is a bside from the overdrive ep, and Lure has the Habit vibe which makes me so happy because this sound is his! My only complaint is there was waaaay too much eye contact in that video. I already struggle to look at him directly, but for HIM to look at ME? Unacceptable. As for biases, it just depends on the day of the week 😂 there’s no ults or wreckers or anything with this group, just whoever happens to be on the screen at the time. Don’t worry we get it!

2024-04-04 17:08:18 +0000 UTCHe wrote MMI during the hardest time for him, he need to work everyday night until the sun rise and when he woke up it's evening again and its all dark again, it feels like a loop for him that make him feel stressed, he almost didn't want to finish this song... but he decided to write all the experience he had into the lyrics. So what you feels about listening to this song is really match what he wants to deliver through MMI. Thanks for the reaction and it's really nice to watch all the mx videos with you!

2024-04-04 07:51:30 +0000 UTChaha Monbebe always ask him who hurt him or his characters in the MVs. We ask him when he will have a happy ending in his MVs because he is always suffering. So what Changkyun told us last comeback really relaxed me and made me realize Kyun is a true artist and doesn't just treat music as a form of expression but also as art. (I know music is art but bear with me I'll try to explain) He told us that mentally he is fine and he is happy. Which I believe because you can tell that man loves the stage and when he is out and about Monbebe have commented how he actually looks more at peace and relaxed ever since he moved to SONY. So his creative process, he says he uses his imagination. He also says he likes writing, scribbling notes when he drinks. He plays music and serves himself a drink to relax and just let the imagination flow. The next day looks at his notes and tries to make sense and develop the stories to make lyrics. I.M grew up like you listening to lots of Jazz, blues, and classical music. it was once mentioned that one of his favorite songs was/is Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World. (btw he did a wonderful cover of "Everything Happens to Me" by Chet Baker for us Monbebe as a Christmas gift. https://youtu.be/2-ppNxtG_PI?si=92iYzrsKyB37dywS) I think Kyun is just a very deep thinker that likes to play with emotions in his music. He likes to challenge himself in capturing those feelings in his music. - I am not saying that songs like MMI or Bust It aren't his true feelings, because he clearly is talking about his own struggles to make music. - The songs where he writes that tell a story, he likes to think of them as paintings, he wants us to relate to them and find our own meaning to them and adopt the songs as a part of us. This is also something he told us in his last comeback. He told us how his mother is a painter and when his dad asks what a painting means she tells him she wants him to find or give a piece meaning on his own. Kyun wants the same for his music. Anyway I hope I made a little sense, and helped you understand Kyun even if it is just a little bit. haha.

And he’s stuck in the human world not moving on maybe love is holding him there. And he’s watching the world pass by him. And going through all the memories they lived together. But she can’t see him as he follows her through the world. That’s what I think it’s about. It’s actually a Beautiful video. And sad at the same time. And man he’s looks amazing. He’s the best dressed man I have ever seen.
