2022-05-26 10:55:31 +0000 UTCI'm right there with you. This show is fighting AoT for my favorite right now. AoT is the best for the plot and heavy themes but these characters are just so relatable and I connect with them so well. At the end of the episode is the song "Gate of Steiner," which you can hear in the background of a lot of scenes. It's basically the show's theme song apart from the opening, and there's even a lyrical version somewhere in Steins;Gate 0! I'd just like to point out one thing plot related... so we know that on a worldline certain things are destined to happen. Even if you change the past, that event will still take place somehow. Example, you might stop Mayuri from getting shot, but she will just get hit by a train. Either, way the end result is that she dies. Now it seems like we have the same problem with the future of the world. In the alpha world line, SERN conquers the world. In the beta, World War III takes place. Either way, the result is the same: the world is doomed for catastrophe.

2022-05-26 02:15:16 +0000 UTCMan, this is a legendary episode. Probably my favourite of the show. His speech right before and after going to the beta worldine, Okabe's voice actor is amazing! He can convey so many emotions. I also love how the camera shot right after he returns to the beta worldline is similar to the shot in episode 1 when he introduced the lab for the first time. In episode 2 Okabe mentions that in his original (beta) worldline John Titor also came back from the year 2036 to save the future, so again it can be predicted way earlier that the beta worldline is also not safe. The John Titor in real life also talked about World War 3 and coming from 2036 actually. Also, Kurisu probably mouthed "Sayonara" (= Goodbye) to Okabe, but it's up for debate :D
