When will we see the return of the king?

🌼Simbelmynë was the name of the flower in Rohan, meaning "Evermind", a reference to the memories of the dead on whose tombs the flower grew. The name thus resembles 'forget-me-not', but a quite different kind of flower is intended. The Elves called them Uilos & Alfirin. Tolkien mentioned that Simbelmyne is an imagined variety of anemone. In appearance, Tolkien compares Simbelmynë to the European anemone, a small white flower growing among the grass or Anemona pulsatilla, the "pasque flower" The Elves called the same flower uilos ("snow white") and alfirin ("not mortal") This flower was inspired by wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa), a European flower of the buttercup family. J.R.R. Tolkien stated this in Nomenclature of The Lord of the Rings. There’s more to the story even for flowers+other plants as well as the other beings within middle earth (our Midgard) This is the genius of Tolkien ❤

Galadriel is the one who pleaded the WindLord Gwaihir, one of the eagle formed Maiar), to go to the top of Durin’s Tower at Zirakzigil. He was recuperated by her own hand and skills. Bringing back a god of sorts is quite a feat which fits her prowess in several fields as she was known to have learned from all of the Valar, all that there was left to teach by each of them. The staff was given to him by Galadriel in Lothlórien and enhanced his powers upon his return. His old brown staff was a gift from Radagast (another wizard of the Istari Order after he escaped from Saruman’s current abode in Orthanc, hand carved from an old branch. The white staff was a gift from Galadriel, made by elven smiths from Mallorn wood. (Mallanornë by the elves. Interestingly looks similar to the elvish word for Friend, Mellon. But that’s just me being inquisitive.) That new staff before he sacrificed it to do a spell of sorts against the Balrog in Khazad-Dûm. That one was called Opening Flower. (His portrayal in The Hobbit movies are a little bit funny but it slightly sort of suits the aspect of that book which was more whimsical so I guess they wanted to make him act much different. Granted Radagast sort of strayed from the path but his main mission was to guard and protect nature itself on behalf of Yavannah. The Valar that chose him as her champion to head into middle earth with the other 4 istari. The white staff was most likely named something along the lines of Marta Nieninquë (Fated WhiteTearSnowflower), or Ninquelotë which is “White/snow Flower”. Or Ninquë Merillë “White Rose”. (Derivatives of Merillë is also Feast and Festive, think of his fireworks for example. Single rose is Meril or like single flower is Elloth. Another Elvish flower term is “ninglor” noun for golden water-flower, gladden. But since Mithrandir is his name by the elves for grey wanderer I wanted to add Mithril to the name of his new staff as it contains similarity to his elvish name so “Mithrillottë” meaning “Flower Of TrueSilver” Or maybe due to the snowy mountain he died upon, the new staff name could be “Olórin olea Ollosë” meaning “The Dream/Vision that bloomed and flourishes upon the Fallen Snow” by how it’s implied. Olórin is Gandalf’s real angelic name so it is basically describing how the dream of hope that rekindled itself in the harshest of conditions. Like a resilient type of flower, Ollosë is the fallen snow. Olea is the action of plants specifically growing & living. Another elvish flower name I love is for Daisy “Eirien”. Lothlórien itself means “DreamFlower”. Galadriel’s realm. ❤️ - (Elvish had grown ALOT over the ages. Even some forms of elvish are even more archaic even for other elves who at times may experience a little bit of difficulty understanding or simply noting one’s accent and speed of which one talks internally. Just like our languages. To the point where dialects can change so much that entire regions speak almost wholey different languages all together. Sharing a common language across landmasses.

🗡️ ⚔️ The sword Gandalf wielded caused the Balrog’s primordial sword to burst into a rain of molten lava in an almost majestic way. It too belong to high elven king Turgon of the great hidden realm of Gondolin, surrounded by tallest mountains. Named Glamdring; meaning “Foe Hammer”. Gandalf broke the balrog’s unholy weapon. Epic right? His original staff broke when he let some of his true powers show to grant a miracle from his own life force. This is the same thing for how the elves do “magic” Galadriel herself tells Frodo and Sam that things elves do may seem like magic but they don’t really use such a word since they are one with the world, symbiotic with it if the world perished so would they. Just so you know; the balrog and Gandalf fought for 10 days straight. Then eldrich terrors(nameless things) assailed them both and they begrudgingly fought them off together and Gandalf resumed his chase of the balrog up the endless stairs of Dúrin’s Tower where they fought up at the top of ZirakZigil Gandalf was given the ring of fire (Narya) by one of the oldest remaining elves from the first clans to wake beneath the stars before the sun and moon ever existed; at the Cuiviènen river named Círdan. Its best attribute was it raises the spirits of those who wear it. Bolstering internal strength and so forth. He knew it would aid Gandalf in his quest from the Valar and Eru Îlluvatar (the one AllFather) themselves to bolster the spirits of the free peoples of middle earth and to sow seeds of hope within the hearts of Men, Elves and Dwarves alike.

They need to see andy Serkis in his body suit that had all the sensors on it. All of the facial reactions also belonged to Andy Serkis. Every bodily movment too. Every jump, every skuddle, every run... every growl, holler and moan. All him!

🐉🐲 Not Dragons. Dragons in middle earth are far more intelligent and 100 times more dangerous. The Nazgûl's flying steeds are given various descriptions but no name. Beregond calls them "Hell Hawks". Tolkien describes them as "fell beasts", though he also applies the adjective fell ("fierce, cruel") to other creatures throughout The Lord of the Rings – even at one point to the wizard Gandalf.—————————— Fell beast is simply a term for any wicked and evil creature of Melkor and Sauron. It is not used as a proper name for Nazgûl's winged mounts in particular. This was an idea coming from the wave of games that came after the movies, in fact even in the Books that creature is called fell beast, but that's not a specific name, the more correct one would probably be Hell-hawks. It's a fell beast but not exactly so. There are countless uses of this term for evil creatures in general, like Sauron's werewolves. Middle-earth was not inhabited only by Trolls, Eagles, Dragons, and Spiders. There were innumerable creatures, good and evil, of many kinds and shapes, however most of them are not named or their names are not known. The collective name for the evil ones Tolkien uses fell beasts or monsters, although he differentiates the two; in my view, fell beasts are corrupted creatures; monsters are creatures that Melkor (or Sauron) “made” not corrupting others, like the Valar made their animals and plants, not literally out of nothing of course. Another term used in The Silmarillion for the evil things Melkor corrupted is misshapen beasts. ————————————- The Fell beast (a term used to any evil creature, not only the Nazgûl‘s steed) it wasn’t related to dragons; It was an old type of reptile or bird, increased in power and size by Sauron. Although It looks like a small dragon, it was certainly not related to Morgoth's worms (Wyrms). Dragons and Drakes seem to be synonymous in Middle Earth but dragons are a long story. People may think that Tolkien's dragons were always like Smaug, Glaurung or the Ancalagon, it was not so. Morgoth created many dragons, some more powerful and some less, of many different sizes, colors, and types. ———- ————————- Basically, we can divide the Dragons into Cold drakes, Urulóki (fire drakes), Winged dragons, and some lesser-known. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ They all were able to bewitch enemies with their eyes, and they were all terrifying, even the little dragonet that just left the eggshell. "What!' cried Glóin. 'One of those simpletons down in the Shire? What use on earth, or under it, could he possibly be? Let him smell as he may, he would never dare to come within smelling distance of the nakedest dragonet new from the shell! There is no doubt that dragons were the greatest and evilest of the creatures of Morgoth, but not all were the same; since the titanic Ancalagon to the smallest that was greater than Men, yet they all had intelligence and strong-scaled bodies. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The Cold Drakes were less powerful, they were smaller and neither were hot nor breathe fire (hence their name); some of them were like serpents/snakes, they were probably the long-worms that infested the Grey Mountains in mid-Third Age. What they lack in strength and size they exceed in mobility; some were winged, extremely fast, and loud. Many are the dragons that Melko has loosed upon the world and some are more mighty than others. Now the least mighty -- yet were they very great beside the Men of those days -- are cold as is the nature of snakes and serpents, and of them a many having wings go with the uttermost noise and speed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Mightier and more cunning than the Cold drakes are the Urulóki, fire drakes. Here they refer only to the non-winged, heavier, bigger, and slower, they are made of fire hot like Balrogs, and some actually breathe fire. But the mightier are hot and very heavy and slow-going, and some belch flame, and fire flickereth beneath their scales, and the lust and greed and cunning evil of these is the greatest of all creatures: and such was the Foaloke whose burning there set all the places of his habitation in waste and desolation. It is certain that this type refers to those First Age Dragons; Glaurung and his brood, who most resembled the Gila monster than dragons. Similar to them are the beasts that were used in the Siege of Gondolin. *Yet at long last a drake bursts the barrier to the north – and there had once been the issue of the Alley of Roses and a fair place to see or to walk in, but now there is but a lane of blackness and it is filled with noise. Tuor stood then in the way of that beast, but was sundered from Egalmoth, and they pressed him backward even to the centre of the square nigh the fountain. And of course, there are the Winged-dragons that are not the flying cold drakes, and that were not seen before the War of Wrath, they are strong and big like the earth Urulóki, if not bigger, and have the advantage of flight. Presumably, they did have the hottest fire and are the mightiest except by Glaurung, e.g. Ancalagon and Smaug. There were however other types, less known and cited only in etymologies (if that is proof in the fact that they existed but it is likely that it does). In Elvish, Ramaloke were the winged dragons, Uruloke the fire dragons, but there were also the Fealoke the spark-dragons, and the Lingwiloke the sea serpents/fish dragons. LOK- great serpent, dragon. Q lókë (-i) dragon; anguloke dragon [ANGWA], ramaloke winged dragon [RAM], uruloke fire-dragon [UR], fealoke spark-dragon [PHAY], lingwiloke fish-dragon, sea-serpent. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nothing else is known about them; there is a passage in the Book of the Lost Tales where Great-glow-worms are mentioned, worm is a synonym for dragons. Because of their brilliance (although they could be another type of creature) the great glow-worms could be the spark dragons. But most likely, they were simply radiant dragons. Lingwiloke is easier to decipher; obviously, they seem to have been sea creatures that Morgoth created, they could be simple serpents, not dragons, although the -lok also applies to dragons. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It is said in the Silmarillion that at no time ever did Morgoth essay to build ships or to make war by sea. Water all his servants shunned, and to the sea none would willingly go nigh, save in dire need. But that could be an in-universe statement, and therefore not definitive. Some seas were corrupted by Morgoth, who also had many (unknown) servants, and in The Adventures of Tom Bombadil is said There are many monsters in the Sea. The Lingwiloke were certainly one of those monsters. Sources:

The term drake was Old English draca, from Latin draco ‘dragon’. There are references to a cold drake in the appendix of Lord of The Rings At last Dáin I, together with Frór his second son, was slain at the doors of his hall by a great cold-drake. Dragons Morgoth bred Dragons in the First Age. Glaurung was the first of these unleashed and was a flightless fire breathing breed of Dragon. Later at the end of the first age Morgoth released the winged Dragons led by Ancalagon the Black. Ancalagon and this brood were fire breathing with the power of flight. Later there were references to Cold Drakes, dragons without flight or fire that terrorised various kingdoms of Dwarves. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ There were also a diverse zoology of creatures broadly described as dragons in the early drafts of the Fall of Gondolin. These dragons were all flightless and included things that sounded like Glaurung but also a diverse and exotic array of creatures made of iron and fire that were born of Morgoths sorcery. As he as any other Valar couldn’t create anything with full on life/soul and complete autonomy. especially “evil” as Tolkien stated it couldn’t ever create. Only ever twist and warp and meddle with what already exists and is natural and already “good” by default. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Firstly there are mentions of fire-drakes till they were hemmed at the last by an overwhelming force of the Orcs and the Balrogs, and a fire-drake was loosed upon them. There did they perish about Rog hewing to the last till iron and flame overcame them, and it is yet sung that each man of the Hammer of Wrath took the lives of seven foemen to pay for his own. then the following list of creatures Then on a time Melko assembled all his most cunning smiths and sorcerers, and of iron and flame they wrought a host of monsters such as have only at that time been seen and shall not again be till the Great End. ✨✨✨✨ Some were all of iron so cunningly linked that they might flow like slow rivers of metal or coil themselves around and above all obstacles before them, and these were filled in their innermost depths with the grimmest of the Orcs with scimitars and spears; others of bronze and copper were given hearts and spirits of blazing fire, and they blasted all that stood before them with the terror of their snorting or trampled whatso escaped the ardour of their breath; yet others were creatures of pure flame that writhed like ropes of molten metal, and they brought to ruin whatever fabric they came nigh, and iron and stone melted before them and became as water, and upon them rode the Balrogs in hundreds; and these were the most dire of all those monsters which Melko devised against Gondolin. The Fall of Gondolin, J.R.R. Tolkien 💕💕💕💕💕 The Fell Beasts The Fell Beasts used by the Nazgul as steeds in the War of the Ring were something different. Some of the literature show them to be already basically extinct long before the third age. And so they were sort of reanimated by the darker forms of necromancy and other dark sorceries by orc shamans and Sauron himself who already regained a physical body by the time the events of the trilogy movies began! The great shadow descended like a falling cloud. And behold! it was a winged creature: if bird, then greater than all other birds, and it was naked, and neither quill nor feather did it bear, and its vast pinions were as webs of hide between horned fingers; and it stank. A creature of an older world maybe it was, whose kind, lingering in forgotten mountains cold beneath the Moon, outstayed their day, and in hideous eyrie bred this last untimely brood, apt to evil. - And the Dark Lord took it, and nursed it with fell meats, until it grew beyond the measure of all other things that fly; and he gave it to his servant to be his steed. Down, down it came, and then, folding its fingered webs, it gave a croaking cry, and settled claws, stooping its long naked neck. The Battle of the Pelennor Field, Lord of The Rings 💕💕💕💕💕 This sounds like a great featherless vulture or pterodactyl. Finally Tolkien also mentioned Fell Beasts in Frodo’s vision from Amon Hen but I suspect you mean the ones the Nazgul rose and not these which aren’t described in any way. But everywhere he looked he saw the signs of war. The Misty Mountains were crawling like anthills: orcs were issuing out of a thousand holes. Under the boughs of Mirkwood there was deadly strife of Elves and Men and fell beasts. The land of the Beornings was aflame; a cloud was over Moria; smoke rose on the borders of Lórien. The Breaking of The Fellowship, The Fellowship of the Ring ❤️❤️❤️❤️ “Dragon” and “Drake” are two words to describe the same creature, which were originally bred by Morgoth during his wars with the Elves. The only known examples of these early dragons(which were flightless, and lacked wings) are Glaurung, Father of Dragons, the first of these creatures. The winged dragons were first unleashed in the War of Wrath, the final battle between Morgoth and the Elves, Men, and the Valar. The greatest of these was Ancalagon the Black, the greatest dragon that ever lived, who was slain over Gondolin. Smaug, primary antagonist of The Hobbit, is of that kin, though much smaller and less powerful than Ancalagon. The otherwise-unnamed “fell beasts” ridden by the Nazgûl are not dragons. They are a different kind of creature, albeit similar in appearance. Less intelligent than dragons, they are unable to breathe fire, but they’re quite deadly nonetheless

Lol. You telling her it’s Sauron I thought was a joke. You mean SARUMAN. Saruman basically means Skilled One. Sauron is Deceiver. Which is a cursed name given by the elves to who was once known as Annatar but ultimately known as Mairon (when he was a holy Maia spirit back in Valinor and during the creation of the entire world of which he was a part of long ago! ————————-This all comes from the actual in depth languages which were legitimately added to our worlds dictionary of languages. Sindarin and Quenya Elvish, Language of the Éothéod from Rohan, Adunaic in Númenor (beneath the sea by this timeline era this movie/book is set in. And the dwarves language of Khuzdûl!

So the thing about ents and hobbits is… long before mankind ever existed upon middle earth and therefore no hobbits yet either until much later on is related to the comment I shared below this video that touched on The Petty Dwarves. Anything back in the First Age was considered a possible twisted “anticreation” of Morgoth! (Sauron’s fallen arch angel master.). When it was technically just elves back then. And depending on the timeline had possible ents awakened but that’s about it.

Gríma actually played a major role in the story of The Lord of the Rings prior to his first appearance in The Two Towers. In Unfinished Tales, Tolkien writes that on September 20 in 3018 Gríma was captured by the Nazgûl in the fields of Rohan, while on his way to Isengard to tell Saruman of Gandalf's arrival at Edoras. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ He was interrogated and divulged what he knew of Saruman's plans to the Nazgûl, specifically his interest in the Shire and its location, revealing the wizard's two-facedness towards the Dark Lord Sauron. Previously, the location of the Shire had been unknown to the Nazgûl, but they knew it to be the home of "Baggins," whom they thought still had the Ring. Wormtongue was set free, for the Lord of the Nazgûl saw that he would not dare tell anyone of their meeting and he guessed that he would be of much use to the Dark Lord (being a capable opportunist), while doing harm to the turncoat White Wizard in the future. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The Nazgûl set out immediately for the Shire. Had the Ringwraiths not captured Gríma, they would instead have pursued Gandalf into Rohan, and possibly not have found the Shire until much later, giving the Hobbits and then the Fellowship of the Ring a considerable head start.

Aragorn spared Grima for pragmatic, political & moral reasons. Morally: Killing someone is bad. Even when perceived as justified Tolkien didn't feel that taking a life was ever the honourable thing to do. Pragmatically: Grima might have knowledge about Saruman's plans. Maybe even some of Sauron's plans. Information that they could have extracted from him if he'd accepted the king's 'mercy'. Politically: You've not seen your king in months. Rumour has it he's gone mad and that Grima is the one running the kingdom now. Next time you see your king he's flinging Grima down the stairs unarmed, about to swing a sword through his head. Grima was even begging for mercy. That's not a good look for Theoden's first act as the King again after being silent for so long. (Tolkien stated there is no wholly evil, only supreme goodness but thinking in terms of only black and white tend to always lean eventually towards some form of evil)). His words on it were beyond perfect. I was paraphrasing based on my current memory.)

🕊️✨ Let me share about Elrond & his daughter Arwen (& Aragorn by extension) therefore we must look at Elrond’s Twin Brother Elros, they both were half-elven brothers who can choose to be mortal or immortal because of their parents; (Eärendil & Elwing), both “half elven” made a great sacrifice and went to Valinor to ask for help against Morgoth(who was making everything worse than a living hellscape for 100s of generations) which lead to the greatest events in the early first and second age. the valar listened to their plea and aided their plight, that led to a great hosts of Valar and Maiar And Vanyar Elves went to Middle Earth that laid waste to Beleriand. After the War Of Wrath, the valar rewarded them for their sacrifices. They can choose to be elf or men, including their children. They chose immortally, but never return to Middle Earth because they thought that their twin sons had died. But they didnt die. Elrond chose to be immortal while his twin brother Elros chose to be mortal. He founded the Kingdom of Numenor. ✨✨✨✨✨ He lived in Numenor Island and blessed with a long life that include his descendants Those men who fought for the war were rewarded a long life but not their families or children. Only the family of Elrond can choose to be immortal or mortal in which Arwen did. Aragorn is the direct descendant of Elros, thats why he has a long life. The average lifespan of a Numenorean at their height was 500 years maximum! Now remember too that half elves are a common thing and whenever they did come together it was always significant !❤❤❤ Remember this is the SHORT version, there are so many moving parts that will make you want to dive into the books or the audio books or even do reaction videos to the famous lore videos by the biggest lore channels out there! When you’re done the trilogy try doing reaction videos just like Moviejoob did now with the lore recently as well as OmarioRPG. I recommend videos by GirlNextGondor and The Red Book, and Tolkien Untangled and especially Men Of The West. ✨✨✨✨✨ Many other cool ones I’ll recommend in the comments section of those reaction videos you do from Tolkiens Legendarium lore videos. They are super engaging. You’ll be in love. Nothing would have existed if Tolkiens works never hit the light of day as they were meant to stay private and sometimes be shared with his children and so on. No Game Of Thrones. No Skyrim. No ElderScrolls, No World Of Warcraft, no Dungeons&Dragons. None of it. Not even Star Wars. Not even Harry Potter! They took inspiration from his works which were souly to give back a forgotten history of the Anglo Saxons that had their culture & history destroyed as the larger empires were riding around them. His works reflect the Elder Edda(Norse) The Kalevala(Finnish) and the Welsh people from Wales as well as Irelands cultures of the Tuatha De Danaan as well! His languages are fully fleshed out too resembling Finnish & Welsh • By the way Elrond is around 6870-8000 years old & nearly a full Elf year (as they age very very differently to Men) is close to 144 man years(solar years for them). ❤️❤️❤️❤️ But if you want a more true age you must realize that he may be 8000 but in human years after the sun and moon were created from the flower from of the two trees of Valinor as well as one fruit from the other of the two trees; they experience the TIME and the way men experience it but their clock is different! They live as long as the world/Arda/Ëa does. Essentially. Which is why they are so in synch with the world around them and the nature responds to them ! Think of when Legolas walked ontop of all that snow on the Mountain of Caradhras!! They continue to endure as long ad the world itself does. (Arda) and speaking of age, Legolas is also 3000+years old by the time he becomes a member of The Fellowship Of The Ring! If you look back on the original trilogy movies: The fellowship had a 3000year old Elven PRINCE in their party. And a clandestine angelic being who was Gandalf originally known Olòrin to those such as Galadriel who knew him when she lived in Valinor, Elrond also knew would be one of the only others who’d know this save Círdan The Shipwright(one of the surviving eldest Elf in the world.). ❤️❤️❤️❤️ But even he was a few generations down from the original elvish peoples to awake to the stars) & kin to Thingol who also is a semi distant cousin to Legolas as Legolas’ grandfather was the close cousin to Thingol(same with Galadriel’s Husband Celeborn through his father, their capital within Lothlòrien was named after his father(Caras Galadhon) Galadhon being the name indicating that which belongs to the father. And a 87 year old Númenorean man named Aragorn!, a 335 year old Dwarven Prince named Gimli. And as a microcosm they resembled the coalition of all the races of middle earth uniting under one banner which is another reason it sort of metaphysically set into motion the world uniting at the macrocosm ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Galadriel's Phial (gift to Frodo) is something really special. light & dark have a spiritual dimension in Tolkien. way back before the First Age Valinor was lit by two very special Trees that waxed & waned in opposition to each other. a master craftsman Elf named Fëanor fashioned three gems that captured their light, the Silmarils. (And it’s same power and light was drawn into it from the very firmament where it now stands amongst the stars as Eärendil himself (Elrond’s father stands watch over The Doors Of Night where Melkor still is held until fate holds him no longer.) Everyone who saw them was captivated by them, even the Melkor(Morgoth); the first Dark Lord. Wars were fought over them called the Kinstrife after Morgoth had the Trees destroyed the Silmarils were the only light from them left and he stole them as you may remember, they changed hands a few times & eventually one was left after one fell into the sea & another was lost in a pit of magma. a Half Elf named Eärendil (the first one! Who was Elrond’s father.) came into its possession & sailed it to Valinor as a gift to the Valar to ask for their help in defeating Morgoth, which they did. the Valar turned it into a star & hung it in the sky with Eärendil as its guardian. 💕💕💕💕 The fountain of Galadriel's Mirror is lit by light captured from the star Eärendil & her Phial has water from the fount. I've left out about 90% of the story but it's quite important & central to the story of Middle Earth. for her to give the Phial to Frodo is quite extraordinary. its light does burn & blind Shelob (that's the spider's name) but doesn't kill her outright. oh also, before he was put in the sky to guard the last Silmaril Earendil had two children, Elrond & his brother Elros the first King of Numenor. Tolkien's lore is deep & vast & the Silmarils are at the center of it. 💕💕💕💕 The Star of Eärendil is the light that shines in the horizon both in the morning and the evening. It consists in a boat raised by the Valar and led by Eärendil, who carries a shining Silmaril while watching the Doors of Night. The Door of Night was a portal in the distant Uttermost West that leads to heaven, and/or the Void. Eärendil's ship Vingilot was taken by the Valar from the rim of the world, passed through the Door and was lifted into the "oceans of heaven". PS: Eärendil is ELROND’s half Vanyar Elf half human father, that father was the son of the great Tuor of the great stories of The Children Of Húrin book!❤❤❤❤ Aragorn is a CLOSE descendant of a direct bloodline to Elros(Elrond’s Twin Brother) The title of half elven (Peredhel) was due to the combined history of Beren&Lúthien, his mother Elwing was the granddaughter of Lùthien! Eärendil was the husband of Elwing. The true half elf; son of the best elvish women ever who rescued hundreds from the highest of elvish kingdoms(Gondolin); her name is Idril & one of the best most powerful men around named Tuor. Who later on when they went to Valinor together through their own way lead to him choosing to be counted as One Of The Eldar for Idril. Eärendil did the same for Elwing. ❤

Aragorns ring - Once belonged to Galadriel’s dearest elder brother Finrod, Named Felagund by the dwarves he befriended, they gifted him one of their fortresses of Nargothrond and he even built it with them). He was the most famous Elf in the Legendarium aside from his uncle Fingolfin! It ended up being given to Barahir’s ancestors who saved the life of Finrod during one of many great wars, & Barahir is closest relative to Aragorn through the line of Arathorn! 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ And they connect directly to the house of Bëor. Which all three houses of the Edain were found & befriended by Finrod. First to discover Men before anyone else !! Not even the Valar save Melkor long LONG ago. 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ They’ve been aware of him for a very long time & have been fighting him almost as long as the elves did but with no help during those darker times before the sun and moon were even born into the world after melkor and Ungoliant killed the two trees of silver and gold in Valinor. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ By the time the Gondorians lost Eärnur the Anorian line of Elendil got their cheeks clapped so hard they were reduced to a lesser tribe who had lost a shit ton of status and a lot of symbols of their power like the Ring of Barahir or Narsil. The Gondorian Stewards, especially those like Denethor, looked down on their northern brethren as pretenders and foreigners. Aragorn not only had served in Gondor's army for a time but was chosen to carry on many of the ancient symbols of the line of Elendil like Barahir and reforging Narsil into Andúril. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Throw in a fancy banner made by his elf GF and he had the symbols and treasures of a king. Denethor lighting himself on fire also contributed along with Faramir willingly surrendering his authority to Aragorn helped. An heirloom of the Noldor/Teleri/Vanyar, (Galadriel & Finrod’s kin) But as I said, it's got SO much value. Makes me want to say something similar to what Gandalf said about the mithril vest that was more valuable than the shire itself. Hahaa And so ofc Aragorn for many reasons knows the history of that very ring he wears. ✨✨✨✨✨ I believe as it belonged to Galadriel’s brother, either she gave it to him or it made it down the line directly from Aragorn’s mighty ancestry back into the hands of Galadriel to then give to Aragorn, it once belonged to her daughter, (Elrond’s Wife). (Meant to add this earlier):There was a rescue between a Barahir and Finrod and that’s what lead to this ring being given to Barahir. And now AGES later now is on Aragorn’s finger. ❤ quite the magical ring too as everything elves create have essence of themselves poured into them where the same thing cannot ever be made twice. - (there is a few shots during the 3 movies of it being worn but also that book has the drawing & history of that ring Saruman spoke of it.

🌸🌼🌺 The part about the dead marshes includes Legolas’ Father; Thranduil, & grandfather Oropher, were to join the Last Alliance in from a different angle to achieve a certain war tactic but Oropher and others got waylayed by orcs & many corrupted men which lead to eventually Oropher dying there, this loss effected Legolas’s father so very deeply forevermore. The bond between he and his son is the same bond Thranduil has with Legolas. And the braid he wears is to honour his grandfather. I believe after his death braids became less common. A sort of respect thing I believe. ❤️❤️❤️ Both his father and Grandfather lived in Doriath(Elu Thingol’s domain[Elwë], which was heartbea of middle earth; Aside from Gondolin which held this mantle until it’s secret location was given up by a tortured elf who was the son of a very important mother who was the sister of the high king Turgon). All on a landmass called Beleriand that sunk under the sea after a set of disastrous events that lead to many greater outcomes much later on in the legendarium. ✨✨✨ This here is a whole set of stories of which also includes a quite a bit of Galadriel too but moreso other characters during this era. Of Beren And Lùthien comes to mind and Children Of Hurin!! You’ll fall in love even more after the third movie. Then you can enter into the lore videos like Moviejoob and OmarioRPG have done reaction videos too. Amazing stuff. One thing to add though is this scene resembles a lot from the other battle Tolkien was involved in called The Battle Of Somme. Look into it and tell me your thoughts. ❤️❤️❤️ I’ll add something here though: that clan of elves really didn’t like being under the command of anyone else so they went ahead without the order and let’s just say it didn’t end well. That and they weren’t fond of the Ñoldor… huge history there as to why that is. That and the Sindar subgroup of these clans were a tiny bit more isolationist. But there are many amazing Sindar in the legendarium too Elrond and his two sons and daughter are connected to all of the main clans of men and elves through the union of his half elf father and full elf(quarter goddess) mother. Who essentially played a huge role in saving the world from the original dark lord Morgoth. Gained the Favour Of Valinor. Which subsequently lead to Numenor being a gift from the sea to the men who helped. Becoming blessed. Their land existing within the light of Valinor as it was situated closely to The Undying Lands. (The same ancestry Aragorn has that Èowyn spoke of while they were travelling to Helm’s Deep! (Elrond’s Twin Brother became the first king of Númenor. His name becoming Tar-Minyatur, and those faithful to Eru, the elves and the natural world all of this line carried Tar before their name! Ar for Aragorn is the word meaning Noble in his tongue called Adúnaic. That too is a fleshed out language Tolkien created too. Elvish languages also were placed into the official list of world languages too!

❤️❤️❤️The instrument you may be loving a lot isn’t a violin! It’s a Nordic instrument called the Hardanger fiddle! (Norwegian: hardingfele) is a traditional stringed instrument considered to be the national instrument of Norway. In modern designs, this type of fiddle is very similar to the violin, though with eight or nine strings (rather than four as on a standard violin) and thinner wood. The F-holes of the Hardanger fiddle are distinctive, oftentimes with a more “sunken” appearance, and generally straighter edges (unlike the frilly, swirly F-holes of a violin). Four of the strings are strung and played like a violin, while the rest, named understrings or sympathetic strings, resonate under the influence of the other four. These extra strings are tuned and secured with extra pegs at the top of the scroll, effectively doubling the length of a Hardingfele scroll when compared to a violin. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The sympathetic strings, once fastened to their pegs, are funneled through a “hollow” constructed fingerboard, which is built differently than a violin’s, being slightly higher and thicker to allow for these extra strings. The resonant strings lay on the center of the special bridge, attached to extra hooks (or fine-tuners) on the tailpiece. Carved out within the center of the bridge is a smaller secondary “bridge”, or opening, designed specifically for these resonant strings to pass through. This is where the resonance is picked up & reverberated; as notes are played, the vibrations are sent through the bridge, where the sympathetics echo those notes. • The Hardingfele’s bridge is unique compared to other bowed instruments. It is somewhat taller and wider, resulting in the strings being slightly lower and farther apart; this allows for the easy execution of double-stops (playing of two strings at once). A similar technique is seen in some American old-time and bluegrass fiddlers, who intentionally move their bridge back a few millimetres closer to the tailpiece, for better double-stops. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The hardingfele is used mainly in the southwest part of Norway, whereas the ordinary violin (called flatfele, 'flat fiddle', or vanlig fele, 'common fiddle') is found elsewhere. The hardingfele is used for dancing, accompanied by rhythmic loud foot stomping. It was also traditional for the fiddler to lead the bridal procession to the church. The instrument is often highly decorated, with a carved animal (usually a dragon or the Lion of Norway) or a carved woman's head as part of the scroll at the top of the pegbox, extensive mother of pearl inlay on the tailpiece and fingerboard, and black ink decorations called 'rosing' on the body of the instrument. Sometimes pieces of bone are used to decorate the pegs and the edges of the instrument. The earliest known example of the hardingfele is from 1651, made by Ole Jonsen Jaastad in Hardanger, Norway. Originally, the instrument had a rounder, narrower body. Around the year 1850, the modern layout with a body much like the violin became the norm. considered to be the national instrument of Norway. In modern designs, this type of fiddle is very similar to the violin, though with eight or nine strings (rather than four as on a standard violin) and thinner wood. Proud Norwegian here. This makes me so happy to have such an ancient and magical instrument immortalized in these movies. ❤ many covers of songs are done in with these such instruments too which is also pretty awesome.

(Elves near extinction) Here is why the elves couldn’t help as much as some may have wished at the final battle of we Helms Deep & other places: By the Third Age of Middle-earth, the population of Elves had significantly decreased from their numbers in the earlier Ages. It is estimated that there were only a few thousand Elves remaining in Middle-earth by this time. One reason why Elves didn't have much military prowess to help out more in the Third Age is because they had already fought many battles in the previous Ages, & were weary of war ontop of Lothlòrien(where Galadriel is) being constantly attacked throughout this current story during the trilogy story but the movies never show it. Additionally, many of the great Elven kingdoms had already fallen, & the remaining Elves had scattered across Middle-earth, making it difficult to organize a large-scale military force. Furthermore, Elves had a deep respect for the natural world, and were hesitant to engage in battles that could harm the environment. They preferred to use their skills in magic and healing to assist in battles, rather than fighting directly. Despite their reduced numbers and military prowess, Elves still played an important role in the events of the Third Age. They were instrumental in the quest to destroy the One Ring, and many fought bravely in battles against Sauron's forces. However, they had to be strategic about their involvement, as they knew that they could not sustain heavy losses without risking the extinction of their entire race. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The exact population of Elves in Middle-earth during the Third Age is not explicitly stated. However, it is generally believed that their numbers had greatly diminished by this time, with only a few remaining Elven kingdoms & settlements scattered across Middle-earth. Some sources estimate that there may have been only a few thousand Elves left in Middle-earth by the Third Age. It is important to note that the exact population of Elves in Middle-earth is not a major focus of Tolkien's works, as he was more concerned with the individual characters & their journeys rather than the demographics of Middle-earth. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ While there are some distinct figures given in Tolkien's works, some fans have attempted to estimate the population of Elves in Middle-earth during the Third Age using various mathematical models comparing to what was known about the past. One such estimate, based on the size of Elven settlements & their likely populations, suggests that there may have been around 100,000 Elves scattered across Middle-earth from different clans as it were with slightly different diverging history at certain points during the Third Age. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The population of Elves in Middle-earth changed over time due to a variety of factors, including wars, migrations, & natural disasters. During the First Age, Elves were relatively numerous and lived in many different kingdoms & settlements across Middle-earth. However, many of these kingdoms were destroyed during the wars against Morgoth, the first Dark Lord. During the Second Age, the population of Elves began to decline as many Elves left Middle-earth to sail to the Undying Lands, a paradise-like realm across the sea. This was largely due to the influence of the Valar, the angelic beings who created the world, who offered the Elves a chance to escape the sorrows and limitations of mortal life in Middle-earth. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ By the time of the Third Age, the population of Elves in Middle-earth had greatly diminished. Many of the great Elven kingdoms had fallen, & the remaining Elves had scattered across Middle-earth in small, isolated settlements. This was partly due to the wars of the First Age and the destruction of many Elven kingdoms, as well as the gradual decline of the Elves' power & influence in Middle-earth. Overall, the population of Elves in Middle-earth declined more over time, with many Elves leaving for the Undying Lands & many others being killed in wars and other conflicts. By the end of the Third Age, the Elves' numbers had greatly diminished, & they were a shadow of their former glory in Middle-earth. It’s been their fight for ages alone before Men came along and many of them befriended Men from the very beginning. They share the same fights/The same histories etc! It used to be a few million so imagine what Galadriel & her husband Celeborn have seen regarding experiencing their entire race that still dwelled upon middle earth nearly being wiped out into extinction… By War Of Wrath, Battle Under Stars, Battle Of Sudden Flame, Battle Of Unnumbered Tears, so many more!

Éowyn’s FULL SONG in Rohirric Eotheod language + English translation below/ at Thèodred’s “funeral”•’Now dear Théodred lies in darkness, most loyal of fighters. The sound of the harp shall not wake the warrior; nor shall the man hold a golden wine-cup, nor good hawk swing through the hall, nor the swift horse stamp in the courtyard. An evil death has set forth the noble warrior A song shall sing the sorrowing minstrels of Meduseld That noble cousin, who always held me dear Now is held in darkness, enclosed.’ (Now in in the language of the Èitheod)❤ Nú on théostrum licgeth Théodred se léofa hæ´letha holdost. ne sceal hearpan sweg wigend weccean; ne winfæ´t gylden guma sceal healdan, ne god hafoc geond sæ´l swingan, ne se swifta mearh burhstede beatan. Bealocwealm hafað fréone frecan forth onsended giedd sculon singan gléomenn sorgiende on Meduselde thæt he ma no wære his dryhtne dyrest and maga deorost. She sings this part in the movie: Bealocwealm hafað fréone frecan forth onsended giedd sculon singan gléomenn sorgiende on Meduselde thæt he ma no wære his dryhtne dyrest and maga deorost. Éowyn is only heard singing the last four lines of the song, ending with the word Bealo, which in Old English meant "evil" or "harm". The first of those lines ("Bealocwealm hafað...") originates from the epic poem Beowulf, line 2265.) Description by me below: Dirge sung by Éowyn of Rohan about her uncles son who passed away. Hargander instruments play whilst her voice remains clear and true and resolute but full of longing and mourning, a flute plays in the mix as well but it’s normally chipper melody turns sorrowful as to show how Théodred was bright when he was alive, but now he passes away into the heavens Éowyn’s Lament Of Théodred

Gandalf (Olórin) is the same species of being as the Balrogs/Sauron before twisted by Melkor[Morgoth]. They are all Maiar (primordial spirits) created by Eru’s Thought (extensions of Eru Îlluvatar himself whilst they had their own free will & individuality. He essentially got the chance to experience and study other parts of himself through this.) among the other Ainur before the Years of the Lamps roughly 9,000+ years before arriving in Middle-earth; In Valinor he was known as Olórin.(Remember though he formally existed before the world existed and his form becoming Gandalf hadn’t happened yet. He was sent to Middle-earth in human form around the year 1000 of the Third Age. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ So his many forms had different ages in length of existing. He’s very cool right! Could he get any cooler!? 😎❤️ Another thing is when he arrived in middle earth he was disguised as an elf & lived among them whilst they were unknowing & he became to be known as Mithrandir to the Quendi/Eldar❤️ He could have very well dwelled with the elves far earlier just do to his curiosity & simple desire to explore and be around the firstborn (TheElves) Gandalf The Grey/White Estimated at 15,000 years old (following his quote "300 lives of men, I have walked this earth"), It says that Gandalf was the wisest of the Maiar besides Melian herself. There were a lot of Maiar that were considered really great and powerful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ However, there is a much longer answer. Like Sauron(former name is Mairon) & the other Istari (the order sent around the same time & of which he was appointed leader but he being who he is & a student of the Vala by the name Nienna & Lorien(Irmo). Gandalf was one of the Maiar, an angelic spirit created by Eru at the beginning of time and therefor one of the many Ainur who sang the world into being & Eru just helped their creation take shape and basically stated “behold YOUR creation” & basically what happens in that world goes sort of preordained as by that song eons ago so really only the ages after Dagor Dagorath will truly be an age that isn’t full of strife; sadness; and longing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also. These lamps are what were before even the two trees. These were Giant mountains but also like light houses but housing a great power but it may have also been where two special Maia lived that helped in the creation in the sun and moon after Melkor With eldrich terror Ungoliant killed the trees, so yea “Arien” is the Maia who basically exists with the sun and her brother and or lover of sorts is the one who wanders with and guides the moon. Of which that other Maia was “Tillion” Galadriel herself not only witnessed this but as a student of Aulë and the other Valar she obviously had involvement in helping create the hallowed objects that housed the final flower of the silver tree Telperion that was the father of the moon and the mother of the sun was Laurëlin the golden tree and prior to the sun and moon they too used to wax and wane!

According to Tolkien, Elves could even dream while moving about, "blending living night & deep dream." When Aragorn, Gimli & Legolas are running across the Plains of Rohan pursuing the orcs who captured Merry and Pippin, Legolas never sleeps, even stands watch while his wiped out Dwarf & Human companions are literally tuckered out and even while the other two are asleep. That & out of the entire journey Legolas was both Stoic & ethereal but the one whose heart remained the lightest and kept the fellowship afloat in so many ways ❤. So it was weird how the film gave it all to Gimli! 😂❤️ They have a debate after finding the brooch dropped by Pippin..... continue running through the night (& possibly miss other important signs in the dark), or rest overnight (and let the Uruks get further away from them). In the end, they choose to rest. This also applies to what I explained in earlier comments regarding how Legolas was able to walk ontop of the snow! - (Dwarves actually are more robust and actually don’t tire easily at all so it’s weird the masterpiece of a movie did this).

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers was the first feature film to utilize a real-time motion capture system. This method streamed the actions of actor Andy Serkis, who also voiced the characters, into the computer-generated imagery skin of Gollum / Smeagol as it was being performed. Another great reaction, Tania. As you'll see, the extended cuts will help a lot.
