2023-02-10 03:08:12 +0000 UTCQuestion on the Popeye one (assuming it's the cartoons and not the 1980 Robin Williams musical): As with most public-domain collections, it's a mixed bag--The 30's B&W, and some Technicolor, cartoons from Dave Fleischer are considered classics, the 50's color Famous Paramount cartoons...not so much. And that's assuming the collection isn't some awful made-for-TV King Features cartoons from the 60's. Know the difference beforehand, for better appreciation.
