How to Get the Audience Up to Speed
Added 2024-08-19 07:00:04 +0000 UTCLook folks, I’ve made over a thousand of these comics now. I’m resigned to the idea that some accidental repetition is inevitable. (Heck, this isn’t even the first time I’ve explained this.)
That said, I was a bit chagrinned when I went back into the archives to make sure I was capitalizing MacraMeyhem’s name properly, and found a comic, starring the Knifeketeer, about explaining back-story, then ends with Stabby stabbing MacraMayhem and the Knifeketeer not realizing it.
I was happy to see that while they are about similar subjects, and star the same characters, I handle it differently now than I did in … 2011 (Insert the heavy, tired, sigh of a man who feels old).
