Well, all I have to say is Sango is my favorite character and a total badass, no matter in what language she’s in. Along with that giant boomerang and Kirara, she’s just perfect. I’m glad to see you enjoyed the movie and the variety of characters, the action scenes, which are also my favorite parts, and even laughed a little. That’s all I ever wanted was for somebody else to discover the joy of one of my favorite movies which is rarely ever reacted to.

Is there some reason you didn’t watch it in English like I requested?

It's one of those never-ending fight serials, which generate a lot of comic sales and long (long, LONG) running anime, but seemed bit of a creative step down for manga writer Rumiko Takahashi, whose romantic comedies had been some of the biggest titles in manga and anime. Even Japanese fans joked about the suspicious similarities (even right down to the same anime voice actors) between the IY characters and the characters of her last smash hit comedy "Ranma 1/2".
Fortunately, they're bringing back a new anime series of Takahashi's legendary first hit "Urusei Yatsura" later this month (probably streaming on Crunchyroll), and who wants to bet it'll be billed as "From the creator of Inu-Yasha!"?

This is my favorite anime. It's a long anime tho. You aren't fully introduced to the main group until at least the end of the first season. There was a lot of context that was missing because of that. Like the tension between Inuyasha Kagome and Kikyo. I pray that if you do ever give the show the chance it deserves please keep an open mind and patience.
