Also, YouTube comments have a reputation for being jerks, because it’s an open, random forum: The greater chance that anyone can post to an open forum, the greater likelihood anyone WILL. (Just look at YahooNews or IMDb’s comments sometime…. 😱) Here on the Patreon comments, there’s a little more familiarity, as we already know you and your reactions, and any complaints would have a little more evidence to go by. Personally, I always thought Friends was “too 90’s”, and only appealed to young Yuppies who never lived to watch the great 70’s sitcoms and thought this series “invented” TV comfort-food, but I don’t make it personal. 😛

But I haven't said anything because it's not really that big of a deal. And I can tell from what I've seen that you are clearly a caring person. So I've brushed over it and kept on watching. With that said, I also think you should expect people to tell you their opinion if they disagree with you when you state your opinion publicly. And I think the main problem is not so much the disagreement itself, so much as the fact that you don't seem to hear or care what people actually say. You just see people disagreeing and then brush it off and chalk it up to people being sensitive. I hope you can understand why people find that a little insulting. Please just try to read through the comments next time and try to understand the reason why people disagree. We can't all agree on everything, but at least we can do our best to try and understand each other. I hope you don't take this the wrong way. Have a great day.
