How to Deal With Your Character Flaws

I haven’t actually taken any pictures, but there are two dogs that pass every day, and it makes me happier when I see them.

One is an elderly bulldog I have named “Dense Boy” who shuffles by with an old lady. They don’t move very fast. I’m not sure if she’s moving slow for his sake, if he’s moving slow for her sake, or if their speed is a case of water finding its own level.

The other daily dog is a gray great dane I have named “Big Boy.” He runs past, spreading slobber in his wake. He is accompanied by a young man who jogs, either to keep up with the dog, or to keep fit so it will be harder for the dog to eat him. I live in fear that the poor guy will slip on the slobber and hurt himself.

That reminds me that I once worked at an office in Amsterdam, in one of the older buildings the city has. FYI, old houses in Amsterdam are slowly sinking into the ground, so what used to be ground floor is becoming a cellar after two centuries or so. So from the office window, all I would normally see were legs. Legs of people walking by... In a busy street... And I worked there in the summer, when women would walk around in short skirts and sometimes pause near my office... It's amazing that I still got any work done... :D

I caught the "rear windowing" joke and enjoyed it. Out of context it does seem sinister, or at least icky.
