Main reason is ... because they don't make movies like these anymore! Can't indulge that side of myself. Of appreciating such good and well made scenes!

2022-06-01 04:26:56 +0000 UTCI appreciate the fact that you removed the subtitles in that very important scene in the showers. Lets face it. They were just getting in the way of the most important parts there. I love that scene and have seen it many times. Yet, for some reason I never remember what they were talking about in it. Pretty sure it's something important. I just have no idea what it is. Sadly for some reason, they don't make such important scenes in movies anymore. Which is sad, they are awesome.

2022-06-01 03:59:34 +0000 UTCWe only got the Troopers sequels for the same reason we got bad Terminator and Universal Soldier (and one Basic Instinct and Hollow Man) direct-video, quote-fingers, "sequels": Carolco Pictures went bankrupt in '99, leaving the titles for a lot of 90's hits up for grabs at a garage sale, and plenty of buyers. There's only ONE Starship Troopers directed by the gloriously insane Paul Verhoeven, and accept no substitutes. (Although, granted, it was Verhoeven's "Showgirls" that was one of the big reasons the studio went under in the first place.)

2022-05-31 22:32:39 +0000 UTCSome rate the sequels lower then this one, but I liked them. You definitely need to check the breackdown. It's still on youtube, so it isn't as bad. You understand more about the movie. You diid say you will watch anything ages ago. No matter what, I'm glad you liked it. The movie deserves that.
