Avatar : The Last Airbender Season 2 Episode 11

I think Avatar is the Only tv-show where i cant pick a favourite character. Even though its focused on Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph are so important for the group dynamic. Zuko and Iroh face their own difficulties and need eachother. Even Azula, Suki, Mai & Ty Lee are super important to the story and each play a big part in it. Every character has something special to give, even if you dont see them every episode. - Remember! DO NOT watch the "previously in Avatar" it contains BIG spoilers for the episode. - Not sure if you noticed but on the board with wanted posters, was a poster of Zuko and Iroh and The Blue Spirit. No one knows that Zuko is The Blue Spirit. Except for Zhao, but he got taken by the Ocean Spirit. - Sokka saying Princess Yue doesnt need Appa to fly because she is the moon, is a hint that even if he's in this state. he still think about her everyday. And when it turns night, he watches the moon. Very sad. - Sokka and Momo were hilarious in this episode. I also love the wink they give to dr*gs XD. - Katara has always been kind of the leader/ mother figure who takes care of the group. But we see her (and everyone else) growing very fast in this season. - Aang losing Appa is heartbreaking. You got to remember that he had Appa since he was little. He survived a 100 year in ice with him and he is the only friend he still has from a 100year ago (except Bumi but thats different). He is his dearest family/friend. If someone would kidnap my dog i would raise hell ! Litteraly. Seeing him go through the stages you have after loss is very sad to see. He even hurt/killed that giant bee, normally he wouldnt even hurt a fly. Unless there is no other choice. - The final part always gets me. I can never see it without getting emotional. Its so powerfull. The anger and sadness he feels and not being able to control it, made him call the Avatar state. Also, did you notice Katara's face when she was standing alone, watching Aang? I love that scene. Its a face you cant explain but 100% understand and feel. - Dillon: "I cant imagine when Aang fights the firenation" .. no indeed, you cant. Its the best ending for a tv-show i've ever seen. :)
