Tatsu and Tomi vs Goten and Trunks

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest Patron Epilogue XI-

AGE 755, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE OUTSKIRTS

“Mechikabura! Your evil reign ends today!” Future Trunks calls out, you both turning from your Daddy's Event Horizon explosion in the sky and turning to look at the Time Patroller with disdain. But as you both do, suddenly you realize that he's not alone. Trunks has shown up with his whole crew, more than a dozen of them in all.
“Baaaaah!” you hear your niece call out, turning your head towards her to see her frowning at Future Trunks, pointing a finger at him and shouting angrily. Which reminds you of what happened earlier, is she going to-? “BAAAAAAAAH!!”

KABOOM

“GYAAAAAH!!” Trunks cries out in pain as he's blasted, your brother's daughter exploding the man for interrupting her watching her granddad's massive blast. The force of the explosion knocks the others back, although it could be more from the surprise than anything. And as the smoke clears, you see she's blasted his jacket to tatters, knocking the pitiful warrior down to a knee. “Wh-What the hell?”

“My barriers fell, everyone ready yourselves.” Mechikabura calls out, not in alarm but rather matter-of-factly. As if the Time Patrol's appearance is as notable as the sun coming out from behind a cloud. But before the Time Patrol can mobilize, your oldest brother steps forward.

“I'm giving you exactly ONE chance. Leave. Now. Or I will kill you.” Chilli says, the icy venom in his low voice sending shivers up both of your spines. You share a look, then both of you look back to Chilli to see what'll happen.

“Hey, that's Karn's power!” the orange-gi'd Kakarot says, immediately raising a hand to his forehead. No doubt to use the Yardratian teleportation technique. But this sets your brother off, who immediately sheds his form. His body is seemingly ripped to shreds, replaced by a starry form roughly his shape.

“DIE!!” your brother snarls, a very familiar red aura blazing around his dark figure as he thrusts both hands forward and unleashes an amazing attack. It's like the Final Flash, but his dark power enhanced by the Kaio-Ken is immediate and requires no charging. However, one man steps out past Trunks, red and black tight suit contrasting everyone else's apparel as he then glaresat your brother's attack. Somehow stopping it short, like hitting an invisible barrier! “Wh-What?!”

Your brother ends his torrent of magic, jaw dropping in surprise. But then your oldest sister shouts out, charging towards them.

“Trunks you bastard!” she roars, gold and blue aura blazing, sparks dancing around her body as she blitzes towards Trunks. Before the others can react she tackles him, slamming into his chest and blasting the both of them away from the group. Everyone else immediately springs into action, battle breaking out. Your future big sis Chaya and Ace both go full power, charging forward only to be met with that same red and black suited grey alien man and a fused warrior, the four clashing overhead. Their shock waves slam down onto the rest of you for a few moments before rising higher and higher into the air, everyone else readying yourselves for battle. But before anyone else can move, there is a blinding flash of light. And once it ends, you see that the Supreme Kai of Time has once again transformed into her serious adult form.

“Mechikabura! This ends today!” she declares, a giant clock appearing behind her made of some type of energy.

“Hmph. I doubt it.” he replies, the two staring each other down in silence. But you both glance to Chilli, watching him as his jaw drops, stepping back from them. Looking around, you see many of the Crimson Demons and even the spooky skeleton man stepping back from the two of them. But you can't think on it long, as a pair of kids roughly your age charge towards you.

“Let's go Goten!” the one that looks like a tiny Trunks on your left shouts, hair flashing up to Super Saiyan as he charges.

“Yeah!” the one whose face reminds you of Bardock and Kakarot agrees, also transforming mid-dash. Both of your own bodies Ascend in a burst of sparks and flashing golden aura, then clasp hands and let you assume full control. Guess you're fighting these two first.

You are Tomitsu, the personality formed by the mind fusion of Tatsu and Tomi, twins connected mentally at first. Over the years they created you, a being comprised of both of their minds, personalities, and can control one or both of their bodies simultaneously. At least for a time. The longer the twins go without physical contact, the weaker you become, eventually even starting to fade away entirely. But as Tatsu's right and Tomi's left clasp, you're back to full consciousness and ready to fight.

“Bring it on!” you say through both mouths, taking your double-bodied fighting stance. Which actually stops the two of them short, the black-haired one speaking up.

“Hey Trunks, did you feel that?” the one presumably called Goten says, confusion in his voice. “It felt like-”
“Just like they fused.” this younger Trunks replies, you wondering how confusing it would be to fight with yourself, or yourselves from other timelines. “Don't matter, we won't lose!”

“Yeah!” Goten adds, the two again flaring their golden auras and charging headlong at you. But you're ready, using Tatsu's body to swing Tomi in a quarter circle, delivering a powerful flying kick to Goten's side, sending him crashing into Trunks and then launching both older Saiyans flying away.

“Guh!” Trunks wheezes as he's caught by surprise, not expecting to get hit form that side. After a few feet they recover, flipping around and separating from each other before blasting forward towards you again. “Tch! Cheap shot!”

“Really? Complaining about a cheap shot?” you reply from both mouths, kicking up into the air with all four legs at once, forcing them to follow you up into the air where you have more maneuverability. “When you assholes showed up to invade my niece's birthday party?”

“We're not here for the party, just to kick the Time Breakers out of this timeline they don't belong!” Goten replies, the two Super Saiyans charging up at the both of you.

“HAAAAA!” Trunks shouts as he suddenly accelerates, blitzing towards Tomi ahead of his partner and swinging for her chest with a heavy left punch. So you swing Tatsu, twisting Tomi's body clockwise around his punch while Tatsu's leg kicks out at Goten, the other Saiyan. He raises his right arm, blocking the kick with his forearm while Trunks' punch misses. Leaving him wide open, Tomi's arm poised ready to strike. “Oh shi-!”

“HRRAAAAA!!” you shout from both Tatsu and Tomi's mouths simultaneously. With Tomi's arm you punch down, striking Trunks heavily on the head while with Tatsu you kick with your right under his upraised guard, kicking him solidly in his lower ribs simultaneously. The two attacks knock Goten and Trunks away from each other, sending Trunks straight down while knocking Goten back and away. You then gather you combined ki into Tomi's right hand, Tatsu's body spinning her around once then up and over his head, building momentum before firing the Scattershot down at the smaller Trunks. “HYAAAA!!”

The orb splits into more than a score, explosive energy orbs the size of your heads rain down on and around him. Obscuring him from view momentarily, much as your niece's blast had done to his older counterpart. But Goten wastes no time closing back in, dashing right at Tomi at full speed.

“I gotcha now!” he declares, right foot forward in a flying kick aimed for her head. So with a quick tug upwards jerk her up and out of the way, Goten's attack completely whiffing. As he sails through empty sky you flip Tatsu's body, spinning Tomi up and overhead only to come down hard, stomping both feet into his back. “Gaaaaaah!!”

The blow sends him crashing down, landing atop Trunks who'd just risen to his feet as well. The two both go down, you seeing your chance and placing both Tatsu and Tomi's free hands together. Combining the energy pouring out from each hand, you quickly form an orb larger than your combined bodies overhead, leveling it at them with twin smirks as it continues to grow even larger.

“Twinburst Cannon!” you declare from both mouths, firing the giant blast down at them both. The two you can feel leap back to their feet, and as one start shouting together.

“KAAAAAA! MEEEEE! HAAAA! MEEEE!” they call together, you sensing their ki shooting up in response. From the other side of your attack you see azure light blazing, wondering how they'll respond for an instant. “HAAAAAA!!”

But get your answer, the two firing paired azure beams that combine, smashing into your attack with the combined force far beyond what your attack can withstand. Causing it to explode in a fiery blast, their  beams continuing through the explosion together towards your two bodies. Moving far too fast to dodge one way or the other, you bring up both feet, kicking off each other to narrowly dodge the twin beams. But as you do, the connection weakens as you lose control of both of them. Leaving the twins in charge of the battle until they can reconnect.

“NOW!” Trunks roars, the two Time Patrollers surging towards your Tatsu and Tomi. Powerless to help directly, you watch through their eyes as the two surge forward, Trunks rushing Tomi and Goten charging towards Tatsu. The twins raise their defenses, both blocking heavy lead right haymakers by the Time Patrollers. “You two may be strong together, but let's see how you fight on your own!”

“Yeah!” Goten replies, both fighters immediately pressing their advantage. Unable to battle directly, you put your focus on observing both of them, studying them to give advice.

The first thing you notice, almost immediately, is that their styles are quite different. Trunks is quite aggressive, swinging relentlessly at Tomi while Goten relies on short combinations from a solid guard, probing Tatsu's defenses without over-committing.

“Tomi, switch into Su Ma, get around his next right and counterattack.” you think to her, watching through her eyes as she does so, weaving around his predictable attack with ease despite Trunks being the stronger fighter.

“HAAAAA!!” she roars, swinging down with a heavy left hook into his jaw that snaps the older Saiyan's head to the side. But as he turns back, drawing his left for a counter punch, she's already twisting, bringing her right fist up into an uppercut. Catching Trunks before he can bring up a guard, landing solidly on his chin and knocking him back. Meanwhile Goten throws another 1-1-2, Tatsu using Camali's technique to dodge the short, light attacks with just his head. But it doesn't allow him to get in close in time to retaliate, Goten immediately returning to a raised guard stance. You have an idea on how to counter his attacks, but before you can something grabs everyone nearby's attention.

“GRRROOOOOAAAAAAAR!!” a monstrous voice booms, the four of you freezing and immediately turning towards the bone-chilling sound. Only to see that the skeleton man has not only raised an army of undead, but skeleton dragons! Not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR of them, all of the giant beasts roaring up into the sky in challenge.

“Wh-What the hell?” little Trunks asks, clearly he's had his future self's cowardice for a long time. While Goten looks amazed, almost ready to abandon the fight with Tatsu to go after them and the rest of the undead army surrounding the robed skeleton man. But the dragons seem to spot the self-proclaimed goddess with blue hair, immediately leaving their master as he addresses the Crimson Demons to start chasing her down.

“WAAAAAAAAAH!” you hear a woman shouting, turning only to see ENTIRE undead force are not where you'd summoned them. But are all instead chasing the blue-haired woman who calls herself a goddess. “KAZUMA!! HELP, THE EVIL UNDEAD ARE GONNA GET MEEEEE!!”

“Now's your chance, get him!” you tell Tatsu, who shakes off the surprise of the giant undead dragon and draws his fist back. Unfortunately, Goten seemingly notices, turning his focus back to Tatsu as he swings. Blocking the heavy straight right punch with his arms crossed into an 'X'. “You have to be the aggressor, switch to your father's Djem So that he showed you. Break his guard!”

Without a reply Tatsu immediately trusts and follows your advice, following up the straight right with a hook left, not aimed at his head or body but at the intersecting point of Goten's guard. His fist smashes into both of Goten's arms, rocking them to his left side. The Saiyan's eyes widen as his face is exposed, immediately drawing his arms back up into the same guard just in time for your right to hit them from the other side, knocking his arms to the opposite side. Again he draws them back up, a look of panic in his eyes, but as he does Tatsu goes for an uppercut, fist connecting squarely into his locked arms from the bottom. Catching Goten by surprise, breaking his guard and knocking his arms up over his head.

“Woah!” he exclaims, caught by complete surprise.

“Now!” you cheer Tatsu on as he twists his body, flipping around and bringing his right leg kicking down at Goten's head as he tries lowering his guard, to protect his just-exposed center. Realizing at the last moment that it was a mistake, but unable to change course before Tatsu's boot slams into the left side of his head.

“HRRYAAA!” Tatsu roars, his heavy kick launching Goten down towards the ground. An instant later Tomi knocks Trunks down after him, the two bodies forming a new crater as they land. Instead of pressing the advantage, however, Tatsu and Tomi fly towards each other, once again linking hands to re-establish the connection.

You feel yourself rejuvenate almost immediately, you flaring your power through their bodies and redoubling their strength above the two Time Patrollers. Who both rise to their feet looking at you, then share a glance. With a nod they both leap apart from each other and take very familiar stances.

“Hold on, are you two doing what I think you're doing?” you ask through both mouths, the boys not answering as they begin the very familiar movements of the Metamoran Fusion Dance. Seeing them doing this you decide to do the same, flying down to the ground before them and landing a short distance away.

“Fuuuuuu-SION! HAAAAAAA!” they call out at the same time, perfectly performing the ritual dance. You can sense their two ki merge and become one, their newfound might significantly greater than the sum of its parts. The blinding light created by their fusion dies down, revealing the new fighter.

“Ta-daaa! The grim reaper of justice has returned! Super Gotenks!” the fused warrior declares, instantly flashing up into a Super Saiyan. “Too bad for you! Now I'm really gonna kick your butts!”

“You can do my move?” you ask him, the fused warrior's eyes widening a bit in confused shock. He clearly doesn't believe you, so you release Tatsu and Tomi from each other's grip, but perfectly match their movements while taking the same starting pose.

“You're joking. There's no way. You can do fusion too?” he asks, looking flabbergasted as you move both bodies move and speak identically.

“Fuuuuuuu-SION! HAAAAAAAA!!” Tatsu and Tomi shout, once more merging their bodies together to create you your own body. As the ritual ends, the light fading it still feels as odd as ever, being in a single body and not two simultaneously. But it feels so powerful, you clenching your fists and powering up past a Super Saiyan, going straight to Ascended. Sparks dance through your surging golden aura as you go full power, the ground cracking beneath your feet.

“I am neither Tomi nor Tatsu. I am Tomitsu, the one who will defeat you!” you declare, immediately following your declaration by exploding off the ground towards him. “I'll make this quick!”

“Bring it on!” Gotenks declares, kicking off and blasting towards you at high speed as well. With Tatsu and Tomi's combined training you immediately take the late Guardian's fighting style, twisting clockwise around his opening right fist. “What?”

“HAAA!” you shout, twisting into a spinning right backfist, striking him cleanly in the jaw. Which is immediately followed up with a heavy left cross to the cheekbone, staggering your fellow fusion while spinning around behind him. Then, before he can recover you keep your twisting momentum going and crash your right elbow into the back of his head, doubling him over in pain.

“GYAH!?” he exclaims in equal parts pain and shock as you reverse your momentum, spinning back around in front of him. As he tries to right himself your foot comes whipping around at full speed, right shin slamming into the side of his head at full force. Not only knocking his head back, but actually sending him flying away. “Kwaaaaah?!”

“I'm ending this right now!” you declare, immediately throwing both arms wide, gathering a massive amount of ki into both open hands. Then you throw the left one down after the fusion, then launch the right high into the air. “HAA! HRAAA!!”

The two massive orbs blitz down, the first one splitting into a Scattershot. Hundreds of orbs the size of your head rain down on and around Gotenks, each one exploding in a fiery blast larger than the original orb. The other fusion's body is completely consumed and obscured by the explosive barrage, Gotenks disappearing in the fireball. But before the blasts have even subsided he's fling back up and out of it directly at you!

“Nice try!” he shouts, closing the distance rapidly. But as he approaches you smirk, activating your Sky Cannon above. He seemingly senses something, looking up an instant before the solid beam slams down directly onto him. “Wha-?”

Your golden energy slams down onto him, smashing him straight back into the ground and pinning him there. Your Sky Cannon rapidly burns through the energy you'd sent, you quickly gathering even more into each hand. Then the moment your Sky Cannon burns out the last of its energy, you fly down, masses of ki bigger around than you are tall in each hand. Gotenks immediately pushes himself back upright, watching you approach with a hint of fear in his expression. But then smirks, leaning back and spitting up some weird, white substance as you close in. And as you get to within a dozen feet from him, it takes shape.

“BOO!” the thing says, forming itself into the same head, face, and upper half of Gotenks, the rest turning into a ghostly tail. “I'm a ghost! So spooky!”

“Wha....?” you mutter, caught by such surprise that you forget to keep pressing the advantage. You're dumbstruck by what you've just seen, what the hell is going on?

“Get 'em!” Gotenks shouts, punching towards you and the thing complies. It zooms straight towards you, forcing you to attack. And with you hands holding mega-powerful explosive blasts, instead of punching it you kick up, the tip of your boot catching it by the chin and knocking its head back. It has no resistance to your kick, and for a second you think whatever that technique was was nothing more than a bluff.

And then it explodes. Because of course it does, detonating both of YOUR orbs as well.

KABOO-BOOO-BOOOOOOOOM

“Kyaaaaaah!!” you cry out in pain as everything becomes fire, the blast sending you flying tail over head as the world spins. You can't reorient yourself until you crash to the ground, the world still spinning in your vision for a few moments before it all settles back down, the queasy feeling in your stomach going away enough for you to start pushing yourself up to your feet while refocusing on Gotenks' power. You stand, dusting yourself off while turning only to see that was just a warm up. And the real attack starts now, more than a dozen of those ghosty things floating around him.

“Heh-heh, you're really gonna get it this time!” he replies, but you're not playing this game. Immediately you draw your right back, gathering your ki to take them all out in one shot. “Get 'em ghosts, send this loser packing!”

“Yeah!”
“Wahoo!”
“Let's do this!”

They all shout things like this, all of them charging towards you from slightly different angles and trajectories. Making sure no two of them hit each other, confirming your suspicions that they're explosive to the touch. Perfect.

“HAAAAA!!” you roar, pitching your Scattershot forward. You split the orb early, making sure the spread has wide enough coverage. Which it does, destroying the entire dozen constructs near-simultaneously. The smoke clears from the massive blast, leaving just the two of you facing each other down while the others fight. But then you watch as he suddenly turns from you, looking over towards the crater Karn was still in when everything went down.

“Woah, Goten's dad is getting serious if he's breaking out THAT.” Gotenks mutters to himself, you wondering what he means as he then turns back to face you. “Guess that means that playtime's over! Time to put you down for good!”

“Oh really?” you ask, but despite not showing it on your face feel worried about his sudden confidence. He then clenches his fists, golden aura blazing as his powerlevel suddenly spikes! “What?! Double? Triple? No, it's-!”

“HAAAAAAA!!” Gotenks roars as his body is consumed in a flash of golden light, which quickly fades out to reveal that he's gone into the twins' mother Meloka's form, Super Saiyan Three!! “Oh yeah, time to put the hurt on you!”

“Dammit, this is bad!” you think to yourself, taking your fighting stance as his power has more than OCTUPLED from his powerlevel as a Super Saiyan. He's left your strength in the dust, there's no way you can compete against him like this. So you do the only thing you CAN do to avoid getting demolished and beaten bloody, crossing your arms and focusing your ki outward. Your golden aura blazes wild a moment before you start drawing it in, copying Karn's Energy Body technique. Condensing your ki down, it forms a hardened suit of energy armor around your frame, hopefully powerful enough to keep this guy from murdering you.

“Is that all you've got? Guess I'll wrap this up then.” Gotenks says, then vanishes. You barely can process that he's gone before you feel a massive impact to the right side of your head, Gotenks appearing as his left shin slams into it. The blow hurts, ringing your bells and staggering you a step to the side, but you aren't knocked cold by the blow you couldn't even see coming. You manage to keep your feet, turning towards the other fusion only to see a look of genuine-seeming surprise on his face. “Woah, you're still standing. I thought for sure that attack was gonna put you to bed.”

“Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth, bracing yourself as he goes to attack you again. But before he can launch himself towards you again, you sense something. It's Tatsu and Tomi's dad, Karn. His power out of nowhere started skyrocketing! “What the-?”

You turn your focus from the other fusion to your right towards him, Gotenks doing the same and ignoring you as the whole planet starts shaking. Emerald light blazes up from the massive crater Ainz's blast earlier had made, storm clouds gathering overhead as the earth beneath your feet trembles. His aura keeps blazing higher and higher, radiating like an emerald beacon.

“Hey, what's that?” Gotenks asks, turning from the crater to you. “What's he doing?”

“I...I don't know.” you reply, unable to look away. His power continues to swell, the trembling beneath you all getting worse as the storm swirls overhead, actual tornadoes spinning up in the sky and descending down into the crater while his aura keeps blazing higher and higher. The sounds of the battles raging behind you fade out as well, everyone watching to see what happens next. But you aren't left waiting long, you suddenly getting the feeling you should move away. Without questioning the sudden instinct you do, Gotenks turning back towards you as you do.

“Hey, where do you think you're-?” he starts, interrupted as Karn's power explodes, everything going white. You are blasted by a massive shock wave, knocked out of the air and sent crashing down to the ground where you slide to a stop. After several moments the blinding light fades, you opening your eyes and rising only to gasp in surprise. Karn's sudden burst of energy DOUBLED the size of the crater he's in, his sudden blast making that other Time Patroller completely disappear.

“Woah...” you mutter, looking on in shock. And at Karn's new form, standing there in his most imposing form yet. But as you look on at Tatsu and Tomi's father, you feel something stirring in your heart. Like a small flame slowly growing, you feel determination rising up within you. One day, no matter how hard you have to work, you'll be even stronger than him!
